One journalist's terrifying encounter with the supernatural in a cursed mansion.

It was a dull and windy night in the little city of Millfield. The only light came from the fluttering road lights lined the vacated thoroughfares. The breeze yelled through the trees, making them influence to and fro like they were alive. Emily, a youthful intelligencer, had been assigned to cover a story in this creepy little city. The lurid had always fascinated her, but she now anticipated what would be.

As Emily walked down the quiet thoroughfares, she could hear her steps echoing through the vacated city. She went to the old abandoned mansion on the edge of town, the source of the story she was meant to cover. The villa was bruited to be cursed and had been abandoned for times.Emily had been informed that the city board had finally chosen to obliterate the design. Still, before they did, they wanted to probe the villa for any literal or artistic significance.

Emily walked up to the frontal door of the villa, her heart pounding in her casket. She had always been a stalwart, but the commodity about this place made her feel uneasy. She sluggishly pushed open the creaky old door and stepped outside. The air was musty and stale, and the darkness was inviting. Emily could slightly see a thing. She took out her torch and swept the room with it, illuminating the cobwebs and dust everywhere.

As she walked through the villa, Emily noticed strange markings on the walls and bottoms. They were symbols she had no way to see ahead of, and they sounded to glow in the dim light of her flashlight. She tried to shake off the apprehension that had settled over her and continued with her discourse.

Suddenly, Emily heard a sound from upstairs. It sounded like someone was walking around. She set, harkening precisely. But also, she realized that the sound was coming from beneath her bases. She looked down and saw that the symbols on the bottom were now glowing lustrously. And also, she saw a commodity that made her blood run cold wave, a brace of glowing red eyes gaping back at her from the darkness below.

Emily attempted to sprint, but her legs stayed still. She was paralyzed with fear. The sound of steps grew louder and closer, and Emily could feel the presence of commodity minatory in the darkness. She attempted to scream for assistance, but her voice was muffled.

Furthermore, it came to an abrupt conclusion, just as it had. The sound of steps retreated, and the eyes faded into the darkness. Emily eventually recaptured control of her branches and ran out of the villa, noway looking back.

The coming day, Emily returned to the villa with a platoon of investigators. But when they arrived, the estate was gone. All that was left was an empty lot where it had formerly stood. The city council claimed they had demolished the villa the day ahead, but Emily knew better.

As she drove out of the city, Emily could not shake the feeling that commodity evil had been unleashed from that old mansion. She knew she had to discover further about the symbols and eyes she had seen. And she knew that she'd noway forget the feeling of terror that had consumed her in that accursed place.

Days passed, and Emily set up herself, visited by agonies of the red eyes and the glowing symbols. She decided to explore the city's history and discovered that a fat businessman had erected the mansion in the early 1900s. But he'd faded without a trace, and the villa had been abandoned ever ago.

As Emily dug deeper, she discovered that the businessman had been a guru of dark magic. He'd used the villa as a tabernacle for his rituals and had summoned a demon from the demi world. The devil had held the businessman and had taken.
