In the small coastal town of Carmel-by-the-Sea, California, there stood an old, decrepit mansion that had been abandoned for years. Locals whispered about its dark history, claiming that it had once been the home of a wealthy family who had fallen on hard times and turned to black magic to save themselves.

One night, a group of curious teenagers decided to break into the mansion and explore its secrets. They found themselves in a grand foyer, surrounded by dusty chandeliers and broken mirrors. As they made their way through the house, strange things began to happen. Doors slammed shut on their own, and they heard the faint whispers of a woman's voice.

They finally made their way to the master bedroom, where they found a large, ornate mirror hanging on the wall. One of the teenagers approached it, and as she looked into the mirror, she saw a reflection that was not her own. Instead, she saw the twisted, contorted face of a woman with blood-red eyes.

As soon as the girl turned away from the mirror, a chilling breeze swept through the room, and the door slammed shut behind them. They were trapped.

As they tried to find a way out, they heard the sound of footsteps coming from the hallway. They crouched behind a nearby sofa, trying to stay quiet, but it was too late. The footsteps grew louder and louder until they were right outside the door.

The teenagers held their breath as the door slowly creaked open. In the doorway stood the figure of a woman, her face twisted and contorted in a grotesque expression. She wore a long, flowing dress that seemed to be made of shadows.

As the woman moved closer, the teenagers realized that her eyes were not just red, but completely devoid of pupils. They were staring into an endless void.

The woman spoke, her voice sounding like a chorus of screams. "You should not have come here. This house is cursed, and you have awakened its spirits."

The teenagers were frozen with fear as the woman stepped closer, her hand outstretched. Suddenly, the broken mirrors in the room shattered, sending shards of glass flying in all directions.

The woman disappeared into the darkness, leaving the teenagers shaken and terrified. They stumbled out of the house, vowing never to return.

In the days that followed, strange things continued to happen in Carmel-by-the-Sea. People reported seeing the woman in the flowing dress, her red eyes glowing in the darkness. The broken mirrors in the mansion began to repair themselves, only to shatter again the next day.

The teenagers who had dared to enter the mansion were never the same. They became plagued with nightmares and strange visions, haunted by the woman and her cursed house.

It wasn't until years later that the true story of the mansion was uncovered. It had indeed belonged to a wealthy family who had turned to black magic to try to save their fortunes. They had performed unspeakable rituals, summoning dark spirits that had taken over the house.

The woman in the flowing dress was one of these spirits, and she had taken up residence in the broken mirrors, waiting for someone foolish enough to awaken her.

To this day, the mansion still stands, its broken mirrors a warning to all who would dare to enter. But those who are brave enough to try will face the wrath of the spirits that still haunt its halls.
