It was a meeting of the minds of sorts, considering the fact that they were brains who grew so powerful they no longer needed the confines of the body. Once every hundred years they would have their meeting to see how the experiment on the planet called Earth was going.

They met on a cloaked spaceship that was disguised as an asteroid, and went through speedy playback from the time they last visited this date. They saw the Russian Revolution and the killing of the Royal Family, the Chinese and their Revolution while keeping their former emperor alive.

It took their human creation quicker than they thought to harness the power of the atom and develop nuclear weapons and Power. They discussed whether or not it was time to end of the experiment like they did with the dinosaurs. All the scientists seem to think that mass extinctions were natural phenomena, they couldn't be more wrong. The extinctions were done deliberately by the creators.

There were still some or should they realize a majority of humans who believed they were created by a single God. Either that God created everything as is today, or he started it on an evolutionary process. When in fact human existence was the result of an alien biological experiment an experiment to that could be concluded at any time the creators chose.

The Creators had often discussed whether ending the experiment and wiping off the current life forms in favor of creating a new one was truly fair. The creators gave them life and they can give them death too. Such is the way when you have the power to do anything and everything you want. But they also saw the threat that humans posed with their development of artificial intelligence there could be a possibility that their own creation could one day surpass the creators in their power.

And that would be of most irony, the created besting the creators. And that would be something they could not allow to happen, should they meet then another hundred years from now or make it fifty or maybe even make it 10 or 20 years, or perhaps every five.

At the rate humans are increasing their computer power 20 years might be too long. So, the five of them decided to make it every two and a half years that they would come back to see what their creation has now accomplished and whether or not they should end the experiment and start a new one.
