The Davies family had been living in their sleepy small town for as long as anyone could remember, enjoying the peace and quiet of their rural life. The family, made up of father John, mother Shauna, and their two children Ellen and David, lived a good life and were loved by all of their neighbors.

But one day everything changed.

It was a Thursday evening when John and Shauna were getting ready for bed when they heard a strange noise coming from David and Ellen's room. Rushing over to check on them, they found the children in a deep sleep and everything was perfectly normal.

However, the following night the same strange sound could be heard coming from the same room. This time, it was louder and more persistent than before. It sounded like a young girl crying for help. John and Shauna rushed to the room to try and figure out what was going on, but the crying abruptly stopped as soon as they opened the door.

The couple thought nothing of it and assumed it was just a bad dream, but the following evening the same cry could be heard from the same room.

This time, John and Shauna vowed to stay in the room to observe and figure out what was going on. As soon as they entered the room, the crying started again. They looked around the room but couldn't find anything out of the ordinary. The crying suddenly stopped and a chilling silence filled the air.

Suddenly, they heard a faint voice in their minds cry out, "Please help me! I need justice!"

John and Shauna were stunned. They had never experienced anything like this before. The voice was clear and unmistakable in its plea. What followed was even stranger.

The Davies family started to receive visits from the spirit of a young girl. She would appear in the room where the crying had come from, usually late at night. She would explain that she had been murdered many years prior, and she wanted justice.

John and Shauna had no way of helping, but they kept the visits to themselves out of respect for the spirit. But the visits continued and eventually their neighbors started to ask questions.

The Davies family decided to hire a medium to help contact the spirit and find out more about its story. After some time, the medium was able to explain that the young girl had been murdered by a rival family many years ago, and her soul was unable to rest until her killers were brought to justice.

The Davies family was able to contact the police and provide the necessary evidence they needed to finally solve the case. The murderers were arrested, and the spirit was able to find peace.

After that day, the Davies family was never troubled by the ghost again. But from time to time, they still get a chill every time they pass by the room where the spirit first made itself known.

The Davies family was able to give a lost soul the justice it deserved, and their small town was a little bit safer for it - even if it started with a mysterious cry in the night - justice was done with help from the other side - and the Davies family will never forget it - or the little girl who even in death was determined to get justice - and to find peace.
