**The Abandoned House**

Huy stood before the gate of the abandoned house at the end of the village, a place that had long become a terrifying legend. Villagers often told each other about the strange sounds and fleeting shadows that appeared at night. Driven by curiosity, Huy decided to uncover the truth about this house himself.

As the sun began to set, Huy grabbed a flashlight and stepped into the yard of the house. The house was old, with cracked walls and peeling paint, creating a creepy scene. He approached the ancient wooden door, his hands trembling as he gently pushed it open. The door creaked loudly, sending chills down his spine.

Inside, the air was cold and gloomy. Huy shone his flashlight around the room, the dim light revealing old, tattered papers and dusty objects. Suddenly, he heard light footsteps upstairs. Trying to stay calm, Huy carefully climbed the creaky wooden stairs, each step adding to the eerie atmosphere.

On the second floor, Huy noticed a room with the door slightly ajar. He cautiously approached, shining his flashlight inside. Suddenly, a dark shadow darted across his vision. Huy recoiled in shock, but then steadied himself, determined to uncover the truth.

The room was empty, with only an old bed and a wooden wardrobe. Huy moved closer to the wardrobe, opening it to find an old diary inside. He opened the diary, its yellowed pages revealing faint handwritten lines. The more he read, the more his spine tingled.

The diary belonged to a girl named Linh, who once lived in this house. The last entries were filled with fear and panic. Linh wrote about being haunted by a dark figure every night. She described whispers, footsteps, and the constant feeling of being watched. She wrote that she couldn’t endure it any longer and would leave the house forever.

Huy looked up, feeling a cold draft. He suddenly realized he was no longer alone. In the dim light of his flashlight, a dark shadow stood in the corner of the room. Huy felt his heart pounding, but his legs were frozen in place.

The dark figure moved closer, and in the faint light, he could make out a human shape with a blurred face and empty eyes. Strange whispers echoed in Huy’s mind, like curses from the underworld. Panicking, Huy threw his flashlight at the shadow and bolted out of the room.

His footsteps echoed throughout the house, like the voices of imprisoned souls. When he reached the ground floor, Huy felt something pulling at his leg, causing him to fall. An invisible, cold hand seemed to be trying to hold him back. Huy writhed, struggling against the unseen force.

Finally, with all his remaining strength, Huy broke free and dashed out the front door. By the time he escaped the house, darkness had enveloped everything. Huy collapsed in the yard, gasping for breath, feeling as if he had just escaped a horrifying nightmare.

The next day, Huy recounted his story to the villagers. Everyone was astonished and worried, but they also understood that the legend of the abandoned house was true. From that day on, no one dared to approach the house again.

As for Huy, he vowed never to be curious about such mysteries again. The terrifying images and the feeling of being chased by the dark shadow haunted him forever. The abandoned house, once Linh's home, had now become a symbol of horror and restless spirits.

Scary creepy event in that house. Maybe they should knock it down and do a cleansing ceremony. 😬
