Grab your pillows - it is that time again, as we head down into the dark depths of Ryan Murhpy's psyche for the sixth season of American Horror Story. Leaving behind murder houses, witches, and TripAdvisor's worst nightmare of hotel hell, it is time to revisit FX's Horror Anthology. As we enter Season 6, and a new 'Gaga era' of the show, some still pine for Jessica Lange and the magic she brought to the show's first four seasons. She may have reigned Queen Supreme, but with Lange's time on the show seemingly at an end, let's look at the other shining stars of Ryan Murphy's cavalcade of thrilling thespians. Here are American Horror Story's eight (other) greatest actors.
Around this time every year, fans of The Walking Dead are disappointed to find that their favorite zombie filled television series is on hiatus until October. And even for fans of the series who are waiting expectantly for Season 3 of its companion series, Fear The Walking Dead, there's still a bit of time to wait so that leaves us without any zombie filled fun for a few months. There is however, a companion series to Fear The Walking Dead that'll quill your appetites until FWTD returns later this summer.
Stranger Things is set to return for a second season this October, and fans are already buzzing with excitement. The first season, which proved to be a huge hit for Netflix, is set in 1980s Hawkins, Indiana, and covers the mysterious disappearance of a boy named Will. Those who set out to find him end up uncovering top secret government experiments and discover supernatural forces at play. A rip in time and space has created a gateway between Earth and a parallel world, dubbed the Upside-Down. This world is like a warped mirror reflection of Earth, filled with desolation and decay and populated by terrifying, monster-like creatures.
Andrew Lincoln's 'The Walking Dead' character Rick Grimes has found himself in a rather unpleasant situation of the show's season 6 finale! Rick had been caught by 'The Saviours' and was forced to his knees at the mercy of the mighty leader Negan.
Within a few of the following images, you can clearly see both Rick and Simon driving on the same highway. Their destination is unknown but seeing as how they're going in the same direction, they likely have a similar destination. Although, could these images of Simon and Rick on the same highway be of Simon rolling up on Rick as Rick does some recon on Negan's Sanctuary?
Greg Nicotero is sure showing us what a 53-year-old man with a penchant for zombies can do with his tongue, and it looks like the SFX on #AMC's #TheWalkingDead are ramping up the gore for the Season 7 finale. We only may be six episodes in to TWD's 16-episode run, but Scott Gimple and co. have already wrapped up what is sure to be another blood-soaked finale. SFX aficionado and horror legend Greg Nicotero posted a video to his Instagram to celebrate the end of another sickening season, but can you spot a homage to one of the great zombie films of yesteryear?
We all pretty much knew this was going to happen — The Walking Dead will have a seventh season in the franchise. Since it first began airing in 2010, it's been a huge hit on AMC. Season 7 is to air around Halloween time, too, so the coming season could be even bigger and better!
It is a method I have used before — turning my speakers to the wall at 2am and blaring out S Club 7 as a way to torture my housemate. Now it appears that the lyrical version of waterboarding has made it into mainstream TV in Season 7 of #TheWalkingDead, which unfortunately meant that the season's third outing, "The Cell," saw things looking pretty bleak for Daryl Dixon.
Can you hear that? It's the sizzle of burning flesh on #TheWalkingDead horizon: but just who could be facing a light steam and press? #DarylDixon may well be in the "ironing" line as everything is looking a little grim for our resident Hell's Angel. Episode 3's "The Cell" was harrowing enough, but we can only imagine that things are going to get worse for the littlest Dixon.
We may not have reached the second season of the electrifying American Crime Story, but details are already flooding in about its green-lit third outing. Leaving behind the trials and tribulations of O.J. Simpson, there will be a passion for fashion in Ryan Murphy's third season of the anthology series.
If you are new to The Walking Dead — and binging on rotting flesh isn't really your bag — then fear not, AMC has the perfect solution to get you all caught up in time for the seventh season. The Walking Dead: Journey So Far airs on October 16 on AMC, offering those new to the show (seriously, where have you been?) a chance to catch up, or avid fans a refresher on how not to die in a zombie apocalypse. Expect it to be like a two hour Game of Thrones "In Memoriam," but with less bastards and more bullets.
