The man, The running, The dream
Recently, I had a dream. It was about a ghost town that I was stuck in. I bumped into a man and we were the only two people in the dream. The man told me that something was coming at 12am and that I needed to run, so when I woke up after my dream and saw that it was 12am, I needed to figure out why I had this dream. The morning after I decided to do a bit of research. The internet told me that if I am running in a dream then it means I need to leave a situation in waking life and that it is important I need to realise what it is I was trying to run away from. It could be anything from a relationship to a family conflict. I still to this day have no idea what it is I'm running from.

SLEEP PARALYSIS
It was the day when I watched 'Lights out' (a must watch movie for all the horror movie fans out there) all by myself. I have heard a lot of stories about sleep paralysis from my teachers and parents but not until I had my own experience did I know how scary it was. According to their explanation, the black demons also known as 'Khyak' in Nepali takes a visit and tries to asphyxiate humans. One of my teachers in my school told us his experience of being choked to death but I sat there in disbelief until that very day. SO as I was sleeping peacefully I abruptly felt the presence of a heavy person on my chest. Not only was it sitting but was pressing me down real hard. I tried to reach out to my sister who was sleeping just beside me but I was like a stone, couldn’t move. I screamed so loud for help but no voice came out of my mouth. The pressure on my chest started to get much heavier. I started to think of the ghost in the movie. Was it her? But then all of the stories of my teachers and parents struck my head. I felt the pain down through my shoulders. I fought to wake up . I kept on screaming with not an "ah" coming out from my mouth. Then finally after a few minutes, I was set free. I could move, blink my eyes but since I was not so sure about my voice I shouted real hard. My sister who was scared to death from my high pitched scream consoled me to sleep. Of course, after what happened I couldn’t sleep for days. I didn’t sleep for weeks thinking that if I slept it would happen to me again and again. I was afraid of falling asleep. I was sleep-deprived, I went to college I tried sleeping in there. I couldn’t concentrate on what my teachers taught. AND the days were tough however I got over it after maybe 2 weeks. But I tell you, it didn't happen to me just ones, I am 17 and by now I have already experienced this sleep paralysis over 20 -30 times.

Last night I was in my room wearing some awful pair of masculine pants, but that mole rat between my legs was tuck thanks to a good pair of panties. I wore a shirt that was something my woman part of me would wear, but I wish I had a good pair of Breasts to make it stand out more. I know I could fight anyone off because of my fists are quick and could knock someone out. My mind knows where to strike, and that will lead to no" Cavemen" messing with me.

Today was another case closed. My name is Jinx. I own a small shop called *Finder's Keypers.* I thought it was cute at the time. My crew and I help find things; not just your average lost dog or stolen car. No, I work with more than just mortals. As one of the daughters belonging to the Guardian of the Gates of the Underworld, I have a wide range of abilities. Not to mention I also have access to different realms, I can confidently say that my business is truly one of its kind. I stationed off in a small neighborhood buried deep in Chicago. You might wonder why a mortal realm if I have access to just about any realm in the known regions. The mortal realm is the most heavily guarded. It's mostly used as a sanction area. It's like the suburbs for demons, witches, Amazons, and any of the other life forms.

The diary was old and battered, and empty when she found it. It was tan coloured and leather-bound and smelt amazing. She'd run her hands over the surface and it felt smooth but wrinkled, like skin. As soon as she saw it she felt drawn to it, and as soon as she touched it she knew she had to have it.

Like many occult enthusiasts, I picked up The Kybalion and was pulled in instantly (I know… Bear with me). I quickly picked up on its intriguing, paradoxical tone; the All is in all, but not the all, the Divine Paradox, the masculine and feminine within the Principle of Gender, and so on. I genuinely felt it had solid insights and also thought it was a great introduction to Hermeticism, but later I ran into several Hermeticists who absolutely despised this work and very bluntly corrected me on what true Hermeticism was. After hearing conflicting opinions about The Kybalion, I wanted to express my own opinion as objectively as possible.

In the meek darkness of the past, a small village sat at the edge of a lush forest. During these times, hope was just a word some spoke to lighten children’s hearts. The elder villagers knew the cost that poverty brought. Age brings tolerance, but once hungry bellies begin to scream into the night, the elders become just as useless as the weak.

The Vampire Hierarchy: All vampires have a classification divided up by age and power based on how they came to be. There are several ways this is able to happen. In the begining of time, when all living things came to be, there came forth the "originals" which are sometimes refered to as "The first ones". Occasionally, some extremists and overly devote worshipers refer to them as gods as well and revere them as our holy (or to most humans...unholy) creators. The Originals are most powerful and there are only three known to be alive in this era. coming across an Original is either a huge blessing or an extremely unfortunate matter depending on the situation. Usually if an Original is present it likely means you messed up royally and they're probably there to envoke only the worst most extruciating punishments upon you. Vampire-kind are seemingly immortal, however, this is not the case and is a common misconseption even among most of my younger fellow vampires. We live around 25 centuries and by then either get bored and go into an eternal sleep-state out of sheer bordom or we get killed off earlier than that by hunters, or due to internal squabbling among the vampire clans and families. This is how the "Ancient" class came to be. Some vampires get so old they beome known as Ancients, and any decendents of these vampires and their offspring are under strict control by the one who turned them. In a way the Ancient acts the same way a govenor does in American political systems. They control their territory, and the people in it, but still answer to a higher form of leadership they also are a part of in most cases. Then besides ancients and originals there are also purebloods, which differ merely because they can be procreated by the aforementioned types if they so choose to do it by giving up a shred of their power in order to make what is almost a younger version of themselves in a way, but not in that exact sense since it turns into an entirely different sentient being who still has to grow in power and age. Vampires of lower status cannot procreate and any victim who attempts it goes mad with bloodlust and dies. Many non purebloods and or ancient vampires have tried to mate with humans and had this unfortunate occurance and it usually ends with the vampire being forced to a hearing in front of the council of ancient, and the human dying violently, or the vampire losing control, sucking the life out of the human, and then choosing to go into eternal sleep out of greif from losing the one they loved and being unable to bear the heartbreak. The lower classes of vampires consist of the rare occurance of "Dhampires" or half-breeds which are usually half-human, half vampire and typically these creatures don't live long if they do manage to be successfully created. The only way this is possible is if an ancient-class vampire and a female human/other non-vampire procreate and succeed in creating a decendant. This for obvious reasons is extremely forbidden by both vampires and most other races. A good example is Count Dracula and his son Alucard who had a human mother. His mother was murdered by the Catholics, and he was then forced to choose to hunt and kill his own father in order to keep him from destroying the world. He then awhile after was slain by hunters for being half-vampire. From the time of alucard's death it was then decided that all Dhampires would be considered abominations and interatial mating was then forbidden by the counil of ancients.even lesser creatures than Dhampires are "Thralls" which are humans who are turned via a bite directly on their juglar which drains them completely of their human blood and then the vampire who inflicts this normally life-ending wound then provides the then drained human with a little less than a fourth of their own blood usually by slicing open the left palm with a special ritual dagger, and placing the hand over the mouth of the chosen person. When the person is "reborn" they're under full mental and physical control by their master until around a week or two has passed. It's another extremely illegal thing to do since most humans are unwilling victims or simply just unworthy of the massive power gain they achieve by becoming a turned one. They also don't usually handle it well physically since humans are much physically weaker than even low class vampires. The pureblood version of a Thrall is a "Fledgeling" which is more powerful but only slightly. Fledgelings develope their power quicker and have more vampiric traits than thralls do as well. All classes of vampires can eventually become ancients if given enough time to survive, but lower class vampires have a very difficult time living more than five centuries without being caught for crimes and hunted. Weakest of all in some respects are vampiric animals that’ve been biten and turned simlar to non-pureblood vampires.

A little town, a lot of tradition. That is the motto of my hometown, Tawnitown. My family moved from somewhere up near the town of Accident after my father committed an unforgivable offense to the minister when he showed up at the church blind drunk and feigned he was speaking in tongues in the middle of the sermon before pissing himself in front of the whole congregation. It was, of course, an accident — at least according to my father. Every time Ma would hear him tell that story to one of his buddies, she would stare at the ground as if she were trying to bore a hole straight down to hell, her jaw clenched tight so not a word against her husband might slip out. You see, Ma was a good woman, a devoted mother, and a faithful wife. She knew when to speak, and when to stay quiet, a quality that my father forcefully instilled in all of us. Whenever Ma had something to say, but knew she had better not, she clenched her jaw so tight, sometimes I feared her teeth might crumble. I always remember her with a loud pop in her jaw every time she would yawn or sing.
