As he walked down the creaky stairs, he couldn't shake the feeling of being watched. He reached the ground floor and went to the near tap to fill his jug with water. Suddenly, he heard a sound coming from the corridor. He cautiously walked towards it, and as he reached the end of the corridor, he saw a ghostly figure floating in front of him. Maj was shocked, he couldn't believe his eyes. He stood there frozen, not knowing what to do. The ghostly figure was slowly approaching him, and he could see that it was a woman. She was dressed in a white sari, with her hair tied back in a neat bun. Her face was pale and her eyes were dark, but she had a gentle smile on her lips. "Who are you?" Maj asked, his voice shaking.
