Unknown Visitor
The room smelled of lavender and the cool glow from the TV rested on my closed eyes. As my fiancé and I lay on the pullout sofa within our living room, I awoke to a strange rustling in the kitchen. Slowly opening my eyes to look into the adjacent kitchen, I could not comprehend what I was seeing. An inhumanly tall creature with pale smooth skin stood in the center. A horrifying face with no eyes was turned toward us with a smiling red mouth full of large, jagged teeth. With its long-extended fingers, it slowly began to crawl towards us, leaving no sound as it inched across the room. The scream gurgling in my throat would not release. I realized the creature had somehow paralyzed us, with only my eyes able to move. As it crawled over my legs, its skin felt scaly and cold. Its sneer released a hissing laugh as it hovered over my fiancé’s unconscious body.

Dead Asleep. Top Story - June 2024.
At 23, I moved out of my parents’ old house, finally on my own, free. Even though I was moving into a tiny studio apartment, the euphoria of escaping that oppressive house was liberating. The strange experiences and nightmares my sister Eva and I had painfully endured as children in that house faded into the past; after her funeral, I suspected it had something to do with those nightmares. I never wanted to go through that again.

The Choke of Darkness
In the hush of the night, where moonbeams danced with shadows, I found myself ensnared in a realm between dreams and wakefulness. My body lay still, tethered to the bed by an unseen force, as if the very air had turned to chains. It was a sensation both eerie and inexplicable, leaving me suspended in a state of disquieting uncertainty.

Drunk Elevator Creeper
I'm a 21-year-old female who lives in a more urban area of Maryland. I had just gotten out of class and was going to head over to my boyfriend Garrett's house to binge Netflix. He lives in a high-rise apartment building, 14 floors in a penthouse. This building is nice but has a lot of college kids that attend the local university.

HAUNTED RESTURENT
SOME FRIENDS ARE IN RESTURENT FOR DINNER... Once upon a time, in a small town nestled deep in the mountains, there was a renowned restaurant known for its delicious and unique cuisine. The restaurant was named "The HAUNTED HOUSE" and was said to be haunted by three real ghosts. The first ghost was a woman named Lillian, who had been a chef at the restaurant before her untimely death. She was known for her exceptional culinary skills and was rumored to still roam the kitchen, ensuring that every dish was prepared to perfection. The second ghost was a young boy named Tommy, who had been a waiter at the restaurant. He was said to have a mischievous personality and loved to play pranks on the guests, making glasses of water spill or doors mysteriously close on their own. The third ghost was a mysterious figure known only as the "Specter of the Cellar." No one knew much about this ghost, but strange noises and cold drafts were often reported coming from the restaurant's cellar.
