The Unpleasant of Eldritch Woods
**The Unpleasant of Eldritch Grove** Somewhere down in the core of the Amazon rainforest, there lies a spot immaculate by time, a spot the native clans call Eldritch Forest. Legends discussed old spirits that wandered the thick foliage, gatekeepers of a failed to remember period. Few thought for even a second to wander into its profundities, and the people who did frequently stayed away forever.

Introduction I saw a story by RJ Stockton and saw that he had changed the font in the title of his piece and I was wondering how he had done it. He told me and I have an idea for a forthcoming challenge so I thought I would combine the two in a story of my own. Then I thought of the song and album by Atomic Rooster called "Death Walks Behaind You" which had a creepy painting by William Blake as the cover. The end of the story came to mind, so the challenge can wait til August.

The Silent Suburb. Content Warning.
"Never been here before," Jeff thought to himself as he followed the delivery truck. The town was pretty far outside his home city. He had almost thought the delivery truck was going back to the warehouse when he'd seen it not too far from here on the highway, but that was in the opposite direction.

Occupation: A Zombie Apocalypse Theory-Part 3
When the βapocalypseβ as it was called occurred, very few saw it coming, and the news reports as to why it occurred in the first place were murky at best. Some say it started in Miami. Some say New York or London, but no one knew for sure. What was paramount was the fact that the world at large was now caught in the grip of something terrible. Something devastating. Something that threatened to change the course of human history as we knew it was now upon us. Human beings were suddenlyβ¦changing, turning into mindless scavengers of flesh and blood and killing everything in sight. The media and pop culture had a name for the epidemic sweeping the planet, although few could bring themselves to think that such things could exist beyond the realm of film and televisionβ¦zombies.
