Pteetneet was a small, one-stop-light, kind of town before the tech industry discovered the peaceful solitude combined with the centralized distribution location. When Spy Hive, a major technology corporation, won their bid to build their corporate headquarters it was clear that there would be a housing boom along with major growth in all areas.

Sacred Blood
Dreadful rows. Endless, dreadful rows of gloomy, blood-soaked trees, humbled before the tapestry of an ashen sky forged by cruelty and rage. Unforgettable of course, the exact moment they were seen. Unforgettable of course, the smell of the smoke, and the taste of the blood. Sulfur. Smoke. Bloody oak and embers; they all suffered from the agony of memory. She could feel her heart rumble and thrash, the echoes of someone scorned from the depths. Forever shackled by a manner of torment she could never fathom, she could hear the murmurs.

Maureen Prescott is the TRUE Villian. Content Warning.
Let's be honest. You know what, f-ck it, I'll be honest with you, Maureen Prescott is the True Villian of Scream. I don't care. Fight me for all f-ing care even if Sidney Prescott had to punch me just like she did to Gale in Scream. Maureen is the reason why Ghost Face keeps reappearing trying to kill Sidney and everybody else who has been killed on Scream 1, 2, & 3 before Sam, daughter of Billy Loomis, played by Melissa Berrarra, and Tara, Sam's half-sister, played by Jenna Ortega, were apart of the Scream franchise. In Scream 1 (1996), Maureen Prescott (played by Lynn McRee) was raped and murdered in Woodsboro which made investigate journalist Gale Weathers (played by Courtney Cox) wrote a book about her murder, Cotton Weary (played by Liev Schreiber) who had an affair with Maureen, and jailed for her murder as an innocent man wrongfully accused of her murder even had affairs with several other men making her a "hoochie" which explains why Sidney punched Gale in the face when she encountered her outside of the police station after she was attacked by the Ghost face killer. After that, the two meet up at her truck outside of her school confronting her about her book and Sidney apologizes for the encounter. So it comes to show that Weathers had true instinct in her book and that her killer isn't Cotton Weary leaving the actual killer behind Maureen's death was on the loose.

Pixie Dust. Content Warning.
There was a time you could have convinced me that all there is to life is exactly what we see in front of us. “As Seen on T.V.,” and advertised to us through the myopic lens of mass media. But if you had even caught a glimpse of what I had seen—well you might end up in the psych ward with a “No Return” policy stapled to your forehead.
