It was the ghost of a woman named Eliza, who had lived in the house many years ago and tragically died under mysterious circumstances. Eliza's soul, unable to find peace, had been wandering the house for centuries. Eliza's apparition started by subtly flickering lights and creating eerie shadows on the walls. Samuel and Mary initially dismissed these occurrences as mere tricks of their imagination. However, as days passed, the disturbances grew more frequent and unsettling.
