Whispered Shadows
In a quaint suburban neighborhood nestled beneath a canopy of ancient trees, lived Sarah, a young woman with an infectious laughter and a heart full of dreams. She had recently moved into a cozy house at the end of a quiet cul-de-sac, seeking a fresh start after a tumultuous breakup. The neighbors welcomed her warmly, but amidst their friendly greetings, a chilling undercurrent lingered. Late at night, as Sarah settled into her new home, an eerie sensation would wash over her. She couldn't shake the feeling of being watched, and shadows seemed to slink just beyond her peripheral vision. A single streetlamp flickered outside her window, casting distorted silhouettes on the walls. Unsettling whispers seemed to ride the wind, echoing softly in her ears. Days turned into weeks, and the anxiety of the unseen observer grew stronger. Sarah became a recluse, avoiding the windows and jumping at the slightest sound. Her once radiant smile faded, replaced by sleepless nights and nervous glances. Friends who visited noticed the change, urging her to seek help, but she was too afraid to admit the truth. One moonlit night, while lying in bed, Sarah heard a faint tapping on her window. Trembling, she mustered the courage to investigate. As she pulled back the curtain, her heart nearly stopped. A face, twisted and distorted, stared back at her, its eyes glinting with malevolent glee. With a horrified gasp, she stumbled backward and fumbled for her phone. The police arrived swiftly, combing the area for any signs of the stalker. But by the time they arrived, the figure was long gone, leaving behind only the memory of its sinister grin etched into Sarah's mind. An officer offered to patrol the neighborhood more frequently, hoping to ease her fears, but the stalker seemed to vanish into thin air. Weeks stretched into months, and Sarah's fear transformed into a relentless paranoia. Every shadow seemed to harbor malicious intent, every creak of the house a potential threat. Sleep deprivation clawed at her sanity, and her once vivid dreams turned into waking nightmares. Her eyes were perpetually bloodshot, and her body was a canvas of exhaustion. One stormy night, as thunder rumbled and rain beat against her window, Sarah heard a chilling whisper, distinctly different from the wind's gentle susurrus. The voice was cold, a snake-like hiss that slithered through the cracks in her walls. "You can't escape me," it whispered, each word dripping with venom. Panicked, Sarah clutched her phone and dialed 911. This time, the police found footprints leading away from her window. They searched the nearby woods, their flashlights cutting through the darkness like beacons. But once again, the stalker eluded capture, leaving behind only a trail of muddy footprints and an even deeper sense of dread. The once-vibrant Sarah was now a shell of her former self. Her world had shrunk to the confines of her home, and her mental state continued to deteriorate. Friends and family grew increasingly concerned, urging her to move or seek therapy, but the fear had a stranglehold on her. She felt trapped, caught in a nightmarish loop from which there was no escape. As winter set in, the stalker's presence intensified. Footsteps echoed in the hallway, whispers grew louder, and the temperature plummeted even when the heater was on full blast. Desperation pushed Sarah to the edge, and she made a heart-wrenching decision. Armed with a newfound determination, she reached out to a support group for victims of stalking. Through the group, Sarah found empathy and guidance. She learned techniques to manage her anxiety and slowly began to reclaim her life. With their encouragement, she agreed to move to a new city and start afresh. As she drove away from her haunted house, a sense of liberation mingled with the lingering fear. The stalker may have shattered her sense of security, but he had not broken her spirit. Though the chapters of her past still haunted her, Sarah forged ahead, determined to rebuild her life and confront her fears. As time passed, the stalker's power over her waned, fading into a mere shadow in the rearview mirror. The whispers and shadows could no longer hold her captive, for she had found strength in the darkness and emerged as a survivor.

Dead of Night
In the dead of night, a bright meteor streaked across the sky, hurtling towards Earth. Inside, the meteor carried an evil gift from the deep dark depths of evil space. It carried with it a a smell so vile, so repugnant, that it defied the very laws of nature. The smell was a fume alien to earth, and one that humanity had no natural olfactory resistance to, not like the life forms on the planet it came from. The smell wanted nothing more then to be a sentient life form, but first it had to find it’s way inside a sentient life form. To posses such creatures, the creature it was going to posses could have no resistance, natural or otherwise. Traveling through space for thousands of years scanning for life forms on other planets with non-immune non-resistant life, it finally came across earth.
