Shadows in the Basement. Content Warning.
The oppressive heat of the summer night pressed down on me like a suffocating blanket as I descended into the dimly lit basement of the high school. Each step echoed hollowly in the empty halls, the sound reverberating off the walls like a haunting melody. Despite the familiarity of the routine, a sense of unease gnawed at the edges of my consciousness, casting a shadow over the otherwise mundane task of stacking chairs.

The Shadows of the Rolling Forest" . Content Warning.
Nestled between misty mountains and ancient forest, the peaceful village of Evergreen was in the middle of the countryside. It seemed like the perfect escape from the chaos of the world with quaint cottages and winding stone paths. But beneath his placid facade was a darkness that few dared face. In the heart of Evergreen live two inseparable friends, Evan and Kridha. They were adventurers at heart, always looking for new adventures and adventures within the peace of their village. Little did they know, their thirst for adventure was leading them down a path filled with fear and despair. One moonlit night, as the shadows danced beneath the chattering trees, Ivan and Kridha went deep into the forbidden forest bordering their village and armed with nothing but curiosity much and the courage of youth took a winding path deeper into the darkness. The forest told secrets that only their heroes dared to hear, and their voices were an eerie melody that echoed through the night. Ivan and Kridha's hearts, however, tightened in anticipation and fear. As they entered deeper into the forest, the wind grew thicker with an otherworldly chill, and the once familiar path seemed to twist, leading them deeper into the heart of darkness Shadows danced on the edge of their vision, strange words filled the air, chilling them to the bone. Suddenly they stumble upon a clearing, bathed in moonlight, where an ancient oak tree stands sentinel in the midst of a dark sea. Its jagged branches stretched like a cat’s claws, casting eerie shadows on the forest floor. Just then they heard—the sound of laughter, echoing through the night like a ghostly barrier. Curious, they followed the sound to the base of an ancient oak tree and found a mysterious circle of stones. A flickering flame danced over the ancient altar in the center of the circle, casting an eerie shadow on the forest floor. An unseen force drew Ivan and Kridha closer to the altar, their hearts pounding with a mixture of excitement and fear. As they reached out to touch the spark, a sudden gust of wind extinguished the fire, plunging the clearing into darkness. Fear coursed through their veins as they realized they weren’t alone—the shadows came to life, twisting and turning around them in a wild dance. With panic rising, Ivan and Kridha realized they had stumbled into something far worse than they had imagined. They crossed the Holy Land and awakened a long-dormant power. As the shadows circled around them, Ivan and Kridha fought to escape, their hearts pounding with fear. But no matter how fast they ran, they all seemed to be swallowed up by the darkness, pulling them deeper into its grasp. As they reached out to touch the spark, a sudden gust of wind extinguished the fire, plunging the clearing into darkness. Just when all hope seemed lost, the dark light pierced the darkness, banished the shadows, shone clearly with its brilliant rays, and they saw him—an oddity bathed in moonlight, . his eyes full of sadness and longing. In a voice as soft as the howling wind, he uttered the curse that had haunted the village for generations—a terrible curse of treachery. He spoke of lost souls caught between worlds, and their grief deepened the darkness between forests. In that moment, Ivan and Kridha understood the truth—they were the key to breaking the curse, releasing lost souls, and restoring peace to the village. They vowed with renewed determination to face the darkness, banish the shadows, and restore light to Evergreen. Armed with the power of courage and friendship, Ivan and Kridha face the darkness together, their hearts united in a bond stronger than any curse. And when the first rays of dawn burst on the horizon, illuminating the forest with golden light, the shadow that love and courage could conquer withdrew. From then on, Evergreen Village was free from darkness, its people safe from the horrors that lurked in the forest and though the memories of that fateful night would forever haunt their dreams, Ivan and Kridha emerged as heroes, their courage a beacon of hope in a world shrouded in shadow.

Head and Shoulders Above. Content Warning.
Y’know, it wasn’t as if anyone would ever consider me a suspect for it. The building had been there longer than I’ve been alive, and they only recently decided to tear it down. I mean, my god, the cruelty of the man involved—everyone knew he was a pervert. It’s a wonder they even let him work there, for god’s sake. His clothes stank, he never shaved, and his hair dripped with grease and chlorinated water. My stomach flip-flops just remembering those awful lessons I was forced to endure with him.
