Introduction I saw a story by RJ Stockton and saw that he had changed the font in the title of his piece and I was wondering how he had done it. He told me and I have an idea for a forthcoming challenge so I thought I would combine the two in a story of my own. Then I thought of the song and album by Atomic Rooster called "Death Walks Behaind You" which had a creepy painting by William Blake as the cover. The end of the story came to mind, so the challenge can wait til August.

The road in front of it was just as deserted as the other roads in the city. The road that led out of the city towards another city passed by this house but shortly ahead, it went into a dense and vast forest. After this thick forest, a mountainous road began, with a steep rocky wall on one side and a deep ravine on the other. There's another route to the neighboring city which is wide and secure, so everyone avoids this forest road. For this reason, the condition of the road through the forest was very poor.

It's about half past seven in the evening. A woman is walking through a suburb, likely returning home from work. At one point, she stops in front of an old house. She does this almost every day, pausing to look at the house, but what she sees in this old house is known only to her. The house isn't particularly beautiful.
