The Forgotten Passenger
The year was 1910, and the city of Calcutta pulsed with life. The air was thick with the scent of burning coal and the distant aroma of street vendors selling chai and fried snacks. The streets, a chaotic blend of horse-drawn carriages, rickshaws, and the occasional automobile, bustled with people moving about their daily routines. The imposing façade of Howrah Station loomed over the riverbanks, its iron and stone structure standing as a gateway between past and future, tradition and modernity.

Grim Reaper, Is That You?. Top Story - March 2025. Content Warning.
“That should teach her a lesson!” Paolo grinned as he admired the threat he had sent. “Teach who a lesson?” Paolo screamed like a little girl as he fell off his chair. He looked up and there It was, looming over him, waiting for an answer. He stared Its skeletal face under that black hood and the scythe Its bony fingers were wrapped around. “Oh no, is it my time to go?” “Not sure what you are talking about but I want to know who did you teach a lesson to. You were looking pretty smug”, It answered. Paolo eyed It cautiously as he returned to his seat, “Just some rando on the internet. Bitch had it coming.” “So you decided to harass her with a death and rape threat? What did she do to you?” “She laughed at a Facebook post.” “Was it your post?” “Well no, but—” “Then it is not your place to ‘teach her a lesson.’” “No, you don’t get it. The post was about Lorena Bobbitt. She cut off her husband’s dick while he was sleeping, drove off with it and threw it into a field!” “I am fully aware of this case. She was abused physically, emotionally, and sexually by her husband. She finally snapped one day and did what she did. I am not condoning it, but to use your words, he had it coming. “He directly did those things to her, so she directly did that to him. On the other hand, you got triggered by a random girl laughing at a post that was not even yours to begin with. She laughed because karma got him. That is acceptable.” “So what, I should’ve just ignored it?” Paolo scoffed. “Yes, that is what any sane person would have done. Look at you, picking fights with strangers on the internet, and then blocking them before they could respond. A coward and a sore loser. Pathetic!” Paolo shrugged, “I guess it doesn’t matter now since you’re here for me.” “Again, I am not sure what you are talking about.” Its bony fingers clamped over Paolo’s lips and with one swift motion, sliced them off with Its scythe. Paolo screamed and clutched his mouth as blood gushed through his fingers. “What kinda Grim Reaper are you? I thought you only collect souls!” he wailed. It held Paolo’s severed lips between two fingers and playfully squished them together. “Grim Reaper? Ha! I am the Grin Ripper. When I see anyone grin for the wrong reasons, I rip it out!” __________________________________________

Pathogen, Ch. 8
With Bianca on board, Julian's plan should have been smooth sailing from that point on. Keyword: "should". All things considered, it wasn't that hard for Bianca to move her hybrid luxury SUV into the alley, or for the three of them to stuff Zombie Trevor into the back of it. Luckily he didn't put up much of a fuss, and there weren't too many people around to see what they were doing. The few people Marnie saw walking past the alley didn't seem to notice them, presumably because it was already dark out and they were in a hurry to get home.

"The Unseen Walls"
"The Unseen Walls" James sat in his tiny, dark apartment, alone with the distant noises of city traffic and the hum of the refrigerator. He was a guy of routine: get up at seven, work until five, eat dinner, and then watch TV until he fell asleep. He had a quiet life, but not because he liked to be by himself. No, it was fear that caused it.

Behind the Locked Door.
A Mysterious Mansion It was a cold eerie night in London. The empty streets whispered secrets as the wind howled through the trees. Occasionally a distant dog barked breaking the silence. Oliver Smith a young journalist drove towards the city’s oldest district where an unusual lead had brought him. He had heard stories about an abandoned mansion called "Wilson Mansion." It had been deserted for over fifty years and people claimed that whoever entered never came out. Some believed it was haunted while others suspected it was being used for illegal activities. Recently a few passersby had noticed lights flickering inside and had heard the chilling screams of a woman.

The Voices in the Shadows
Black Hollow had always been known for its uncanny quiet. It was the kind of place where the shadows held memories and the wind carried secrets, tucked away between a thick forest and an abandoned mine. The old Thorne Manor, a dilapidated estate on the outskirts of town, had one such shadow.
