Subliminal Horror

Did you know, that you can be hypnotized without even knowing it. Low audio frequencies have been known to make listeners feel ill, split second text on screen can convince you to do things without your knowledge. For example; the text may flash "rub your face" and you may just do that, without realizing you were told to, by a split second instruction only your unconscious brain noticed. All of that is called subliminal messaging, it was used in advertising decades ago to convince consumers to buy products and so forth. This practice was almost banned, as it most definitely went against human rights. For it is a form of brainwashing. Although this practice is considered mostly illegal, that doesn't mean it still doesn't go on. Insidious though this may be, what is even worse, is when the trickster uses subliminal messages to harm their subjects.

There are a large number of conspiracy theories that suggest the government has used this method, to control it's populace. However, it is merely speculative to say this, as hard proof is difficult to find. Considering the whole point is to hide information, you'd have to look deeply to discover what is hiding in plain sight. That's why this concept is so creepy, you could be being manipulated right now. Perhaps your political standing is the result of these hidden orders, maybe you only fancy that brand new burger, because a television advert brainwashed you into wanting it. When you stop and think about it, how much of yourself is you, or the docile fool society has groomed you to be. Most importantly, what if your fears are the result of an oppressive force that doesn't want you to succeed. It could be a cruel teacher, telling you how impossible it would be to achieve your dreams. Not outright telling you to quit, but by making the steps towards success seem out of reach. Subliminal messages can also be delivered through double speak, when someone says something that sounds innocent, but secretly those words are intended to cause you harm.

Companies want you to become addicted to their products, whether that be a video game, TV show, food or even drugs. They will subtly tell you how much you crave or need something, that you otherwise wouldn't care about. This will be done all in the name of profit, even at the detriment of your own health, as long as you give away more of yourself to them, the richer they will be. Now, what if somebody used this tactic to in-still a sense of horror and chaos in your life. It could be done in a large number of despicable ways.

There is illegal video online, that has been banned from the public and is incredibly difficult to find. This content is considered to be so harmful, that simply viewing it could be considered a criminal offence. The reason is because it installs several terrifying subliminal messages, straight into the viewers brain. The subject in question was only supposed to be a scary video, with the only sole intention of spooking it's viewers. However, within it's audio were spoken whispers, that told watcher's to dream about dying, in a multitude of terrifying ways.

"Fall from a sky scraper" one line said, "burn in acid" said another voice.

The whispers are at a volume so low, you wouldn't otherwise hear them, only implant the disturbing thoughts within your mind, without you even knowing it. The footage shows abstract art that is distressing in nature, as it loudly cuts to static and then shows screaming faces. All of which look inhuman and morphed. In-between the cuts is where secret messages such as; "you are cold", "you're afraid", "cry!" are shown, but only for a split second. Even when you know this video is subliminal and evil, your brain just can't help but imagine these terrifying ideas. For obvious reasons I cannot name the title of this horrifying video. Not that you should ever want to seek it out for yourself anyway.

Be aware of your surroundings, listen carefully to what you see and always rewind video footage, especially if it makes you feel uncomfortable. You never know when you're secretly being brain washed!
