His name is Corey. 6'3, dark brown eyes, almond brown skin and a smile that lights up the room.
His hair is silky and curly, cut short to keep the curls from growing too wild. We talk for hours, day and night.
He knows the right things to say. He is perfect. I met him on line.
It has been 4 months and i think I'm ready to finally meet him. I know what you thinking, meeting people off the internet
could be bad, but i feel like i know him. I trust him, how could a man that beautiful be dangerous?
Its a cool, fall night, the sky is clear and the stars are bright.
I have on my favorite purple dress and black boots, dressed to impress.
"This cant be right". I double check the address on my phone. As i pull up to what looks like a mini mansion.
I guess this is right. This is way too good to be true. I think im in love and i haven't even met the guy.
He told me he made good money but i wasn't expecting anything like this. I double check my hair and make up, hopped out the car and made my way up the long walk way.
" go away" the wind whispered to me.
i shake off the tingles that slowly started to creep up my neck. i can't be nervous, my mind is playing tricks on me.
my hands shake as i reach out to ring the doorbell. DINGDONG. as if he was waiting on me, the door instantly opened and there before me was the most gorgeous man i have ever seen.
"Hi beautiful, its nice to finally meet you", he says, at least i think that's what he said. The tingles continue.
I had a nagging feeling like i shouldn't be here. "Everything okay Laila?" he asks, while licking his beautiful juicy lips. "Perfect" I respond, distracted now by his beauty. "Good lets go in its chilly out here."
The inside of the house was pretty but gave off a sense of sadness. Like a lot of pain live in these walls. The feeling of grief was so deep, i felt the need to turn around and run.
As if he read my mind, he lightly guided me to the dinning room, before i could make a run for it.
We sat at the table, where he served us drinks, red wine, and our dinner for the night. He treated me like a princess. Waiting on me hand and foot. Wooing me with his smile and good looks.
The food was delicious, and the conversation during dinner was pleasant. Now we are sitting in the living room, drinking more wine, listening to music. "So tell me Corey, what do you do again?"
Never really going into detail before of what it is he does the question should be of no surprise. I never forced him either.
But after being in his home, I was now very curious. "I'm a collector and seller of exotic things. Its boring but good money." he replies with a sinister smirk on his face. I'm staring to regret coming here. Something about the way he said that didn't sit right with me.
"What type of exotic things?" I ask. Part of me was making conversation trying to distract myself from the chills once again climbing up my spine, and the other part of me wanted to make sure exotic didn't mean cute chicks from the internet.
"Do you want to know what attracted me to you Laila." he asks avoiding my question. "No tell me." I say. He paused and stared at me. I seen something in his eyes that I didn't notice before. Death. Like he had no soul. " What attracted me to you was your spirit. You have a peacefulness about you that's rare, exotic. I know some people who would kill for a spirit like that".
As he talked he started to walk closer to me, till there was maybe a inch between us. He reached out and stroked my face. His hands were cold and clammy, sending chills down my spine, causing me to shiver. "Don't be afraid, it doesn't hurt that much"
I don't flinch. Surprised, he steps back and looks at me. Impressed by my courage. " I knew you would be fun", he says, as he wraps his hands around my neck. Before he could squeeze all of sudden his eyes roll in the back of his head and he drops to the floor.
You see while Corey was so focused on his own evil agenda, he forgot to keep watch over his drink, which i spiked with propofol, a drug that causes temporary paralysis.
"You know Corey you never asked me what it is I do for a living." I say while standing over his motionless body. "Ima succubus. I eat the souls of men like you for fun. At first i was worried that you wouldn't be any fun, but the tingles down my spine let me know i was in the right place. That peacefulness I have comes from the satisfaction I get from removing scum like you from the earth."
Time for dessert. Never to be the selfish type, I close my eyes and call for all the spirits trapped inside the walls of Corey's home. Dozens of women who fell victim to his deception. We devour his soul.
Be careful who you meet on the internet.
