Over the course of its more than one hundred years of existence, the old school building had suffered from increasing neglect. The walls had started to disintegrate, the paint had disappeared, and the rooftop spilled in different spots. However, the school continued to operate primarily due to its excellent reputation.

One segment of the structure was especially creepy. The restroom was on the third floor of the previous structure. In any event, during the day, when the sun was sparkling and the birds were peeping, understudies would try not to utilize it on the off chance that they would be able. Anyone who entered the restroom felt uneasy because it was dark, cold, and had a strange smell. To make matters worse, the atmosphere was ominous, making anyone feel uneasy.

However, the restroom became a place of pure terror as the moon rose and the sun set. The most terrifying rumor about the washroom over the years was that it was haunted by the ghost of a young girl who had drowned in the school pool many years ago. It was said that she would wander the bathroom looking for company.

At some point, three understudies, two young ladies, and a kid, chose to investigate the washroom. They were determined to determine whether the ghost stories were true after hearing them. They reached the old building's third floor and could hear their hearts beating faster and faster as they walked down the hallway to the restroom.

They could see the flickering of a light inside because the door to the bathroom was slightly ajar. After taking a deep breath, the three of them opened the door. The moon that was shining through the broken window was the only light in the dimly lit bathroom.

They could hear their steps echoing off the walls as they entered. They felt the coldness of the place send chills up their spines as the mildew smell filled the air. They could sense an additional presence in the room.

Abruptly, one of the young ladies saw something move toward the side of the washroom. The others turned to see a small figure in a white dress standing in the corner after she pointed it out to them. Although its features were obscured, it appeared to be directly gazing at them. Uncertain of what to do next, they froze.

They could see that it was the ghost of a young girl as the figure started to move closer to them. Her pale white skin gave her the appearance of being no older than six or seven years old. The spooky figure was conveying a little doll in her grasp, and it was the main thing that gave her a soothing quality.

The three students remained still, unsure of what to do, as the ghostly girl did not appear to be a threat. The ghostly girl suddenly spoke, barely speaking, and said: Will you join me in playing?

Realizing that they had been duped into thinking the ghostly girl was evil, the three students looked at each other. They took turns playing with the doll and agreed to play with the ghost.

The students had a good time telling stories and playing games throughout the night. They felt like they had made another companion. But they knew they had to leave as the night came to an end. They said their goodbyes to the ghostly girl and promised to visit her once more.

Throughout the following couple of months, the three understudies visited the washroom routinely, investing energy with the spooky young lady. They learned that her name was Emma and that she had drowned many years earlier in the school swimming pool. They found out that she was alone.
