Scary Riverside

A bank formerly existed on the banks of the river in a tiny town surrounded by thick forests and undulating hills. The fact that this bank was the only one in the region and had long-served the community made the locals proud.

However, allegations that the bank was haunted started to circulate. People said in whispers that they had heard weird laughing emanating from within and had seen odd lights flashing in the windows at night. The most courageous residents of the community entered, but they never emerged.

The bank's doors were soon shut and abandoned. But the bizarre events continued. The windows were frequently hazy, as if the spirits within were breathing on them, and the locals continued to hear eerie moans and murmurs emanating from within.

The town expanded throughout the years, but the bank remained unaltered. For fear of running into the ghosts who roamed its hallways, no one dared enter.
