Dr. Fannin had called her in for a meeting. She knew what it was all about. She had been visited in her sleep by, Them. It was all a part of the plan to stop her. Since when did dying become a business? Well, ressurection, anyway. She was set to make billions. In this meeting, phase two of their plan would be implemented. Going into The good Dr.'s office she felt as though she could be happy again. Meeting her loved ones again would be total bliss for her. This would be her final time dying.

"Good morning, Monica," Dr. Fanning said, cheerfully. "I hope you had a good night sleep. I want to discuss your last report and your contract with us. I would like you to consider a renigotiation." Monica nodded a defeated yes as she did not even lift her head up. She was offered one hundred thousand dollars instead of ten thousand for everyone that she accompanied in death and escourted back. She wanted herself to be the first the first to go and come back with her, and for that she was paying her ten million dollars. She already had the contract drawn up, and ready for Monica to sign. Monica asked her why would she want to go there as she had never sent two people before. Would they both be able to go and return safely? Dr. Fannin assured her that they would. As soon as Monica signed the new contract, Dr. Fannin had her assistant to wire the ten million dollars to Monica's account. She felt sure, now, that this amount of money was all the incentive Monica needed to do this job perfectly.

So far, the plan was working perfectly. This morning was the scheduled date of departure. After signing the new contract the day before she had changed all of her account information and booked a flight to Ireland. If she came back, this kind of life would be over. When she went into the lab, they were waiting for her. Dr. Fannin was already hooked up. Monica laid on the table and allowed them to hook her up, too, and start the fluid that would put them to sleep. "Five, four, three, two, one and she's back. What happened to Dr. Fannin!" the lab assistant was frantic. "The raging bull is still trying to find her!" "Monica! What happened? Why didn't Dr. Fannin return with you?" "We were both there together, and they were there too. They took us into the boundery and we got to the frozen pond and when we wer about to cross, I shouted to Dr. Fannin to accept death so she could return with me. I accepted death and the raging bull brought me back. The last thing I remember in being there was her struggling and being taken across the ice. I'm sure that it's already too late, now. She's gone for good.

Monica did not have to make a final report, as what the doctor had been doing was illegal, anyway. When investigated, her death had been ruled as accidental, being a victim of one of her experiments. The lab assistant was ordered to shut the project down, turn all the data over to the Feds, and vacate the premesis. The plan had worked perfectly. Two days before her flight, and her new life would begin. Today, she would attend Dr. Fannin's funeral. It was the least she could do, as the woman had made her rich. She would plant a pear tree at the head of her grave. Everything was quiet, now. No more whispers. They had left her completely alone. She knew that she would see them again when she died, never to return...
