Reflections of Evil
When a cursed mirror becomes a portal for terror...

It was a hot summer night, and Maria was home alone. She had just finished watching a movie and was getting ready for bed when she noticed a strange black mark on her bathroom mirror. She tried to rub it off, but it wouldn't budge. She shrugged it off and went to bed.
As Maria lay in bed, she couldn't shake the feeling that she was being watched. She turned on the bedside lamp to find that the black mark on the mirror had grown in size and was now spreading across the glass. Maria felt a shiver run down her spine as she looked at her reflection, which seemed to be staring back at her with glowing red eyes.
Suddenly, Maria's reflection moved on its own, breaking away from the mirror and crawling out towards her. Maria tried to scream, but she couldn't make a sound as her reflection wrapped its hands around her throat, choking her.
In a moment of desperation, Maria grabbed her hairbrush and smashed it against the mirror. The reflection shattered into a thousand pieces, and Maria was left gasping for air on the floor.
She managed to compose herself and looked back at the mirror, which was now completely shattered. But something was off. The shards of glass had rearranged themselves in a peculiar pattern, spelling out a message in blood-red letters:
"You can't escape me. I will always be with you."
Maria felt a chill run down her spine as she realized that the mirror was no ordinary mirror. It was a portal to another dimension, a dark and twisted world that had been waiting to claim her.
For days, Maria couldn't escape the feeling that she was being watched. She would catch glimpses of her reflection in mirrors and windows, and it would seem to be moving on its own, taunting her with its glowing red eyes.
In a moment of desperation, Maria sought the help of a local psychic, who confirmed her worst fears. The mirror was cursed, and it had trapped a dark entity that was now attached to Maria.
Together, Maria and the psychic performed a ritual to cleanse the mirror and banish the entity. The mirror shattered into a thousand pieces once again, and the curse was lifted.
But Maria knew that she would never forget the terror she had experienced that night. The mirror had shown her the darkest parts of herself, and it had left a scar on her soul that would never fully heal.
From that day on, Maria avoided mirrors and any reflective surfaces as much as possible, knowing that she could never be too careful when it came to the dark forces that lurked in the shadows, waiting to claim her once again.
Weeks passed, and Maria was slowly starting to recover from her terrifying encounter with the cursed mirror. However, she couldn't shake the feeling that something wasn't right. Every time she passed by a mirror, she would see a flicker of movement in the corner of her eye. Every time she looked away, she would see her reflection lingering behind her, watching her with its glowing red eyes.
Maria began to research more about the paranormal and discovered that mirrors were often used as portals by malevolent spirits. She realized that she had been naïve to think that simply breaking the mirror would solve everything. The entity was still out there, lurking in the shadows, waiting for its chance to strike again.
One night, as Maria was brushing her teeth, she noticed that the bathroom mirror had once again developed a strange black mark on it. She knew what this meant and braced herself for another encounter with the dark entity.
As she looked at her reflection, she noticed that it was different this time. The reflection was no longer an exact replica of her. Instead, it was a twisted, demonic version of herself, grinning wickedly and beckoning her to come closer.
Maria felt a cold sweat break out on her forehead as she realized that the entity had taken over her reflection. She knew that she had to act fast before it was too late.
She grabbed a bottle of holy water and splashed it on the mirror, hoping to banish the entity back to where it came from. But instead of disappearing, the reflection seemed to grow stronger, almost as if it was feeding on the holy water.
Maria knew that she was in over her head and needed help. She called the psychic again, and together, they formulated a plan to trap the entity and banish it for good.
They set up a circle of salt around the mirror, creating a protective barrier to contain the entity. Then, they recited an ancient incantation, calling upon the spirits to cleanse the mirror and banish the entity.
As they chanted, the mirror began to glow with an eerie light. The entity let out a blood-curdling scream as it was dragged back into the mirror, disappearing into the darkness.
Maria let out a sigh of relief as she watched the mirror return to its normal state. She knew that the entity was gone for good this time.
However, the experience had left its mark on her. She was now more cautious than ever before, knowing that the world was full of dark forces that could strike at any moment. She continued to research and learn about the paranormal, determined to never let her guard down again.
