Paranormal activity at work.

It all started when I was promoted to supervisor in my current place of work. When I was promoted was relocate to my old state prison complex where I had been away for almost five years.

Day 1 - First night.

My first night back I was assigned to the graveyard shift. it was a cold January night in the Arizona desert. I was beginning to work on the shift paperwork for the night in the office when all of a sudden I hear a knock on the window right next to me.

I turned and didn’t see anyone so my first thought was someone is playing with me because I was the new guy on shift. I walk outside to see if could find who it was and to my surprise, I wasn’t able to find anyone close to where the window was located at.

I then returned to the office and continue to work on my paperwork when a few minutes later I heard a second knock but this time it was coming from the front door of the office. This time instead of me going to the door I decided to look through the cameras and see if anyone was trying to play a joke on me once again to my surprise I was not able to see anyone. I scope the whole area around the building and was not able to find anyone outside.

I finished my workday and went home at around 0600hrs. I arrived home and was still thinking of what could have been messing with me at work. I didn’t want to think it was some kind of entity trying to scare me. It took me a couple of hours to go to sleep that day because I had no explanation for what had happened throughout the night.

Day 2 - Second night.

On my second night at work at approximately 0130hrs. I was with one of my subordinates in what we call yard control, out nowhere we began to talk about what had happened to him while he had been assigned to that unit in particular. He began to tell me that he had been haunted by something that he wasn’t able to explain. He told me his stories of ghostly figures that he had seen or thought he had seen since he started working at the unit.

We were so into the conversation when all of a sudden someone or something shucks the door as we were at in a very aggressive manner as soon as it happens we began to look around to see who did it. And once again we couldn’t see or find anyone around the area.

I began to tell him what had happened to me the night before. His facial expressions change so drastically that he looks like he seeing a ghost.

Before I was done telling him my story we hear the door being pull in an aggressive manner again and we just looked at each other in disbelief and left the room we were in almost running and went to the office where. I had been working the night before to finish our shift for that day.

We arrive at the back office and began to ask each other what exactly had happened back there and both of us couldn’t find a rational answer to what we had witnessed.

At the end of the workday, we walked together still trying to figure out the ordeal. One more of my subordinates joined us while we walk to the front of the unit and across the parking lot to our vehicles. We didn't know if we could talk to him about what happened earlier so we decided to not and keep it between the both of us for the moment or until we were able to figure it out.
