Ouija Board Rules and Such #1

Yes, there are rules.

If you don't know what an Ouija board is, it's a board used to communicate with spirits. It has letters, numbers, and a few words. It has a pointer piece called a planchet. It's also sold as a toy but it's anything but a toy. So it has a few rules that I'll explain as we go.

First rule, don't play the board alone. The spirits know when we are vulnerable and they can take advantage of you. Also if anything was to happen you wouldn't have anyone there to help you. There were a couple of YouTubers who knew someone who got a nose bleed after playing with an Ouija board.

Second rule, don't play at 3 AM. 3 AM is when the veil to the spiritual realm is open and anything can happen or come through. I know what you are thinking and yes, the point of an Ouija board is to have things come through but at 3 AM it is more likely that ANYTHING will come through.

Third, be respectful of the spirits. You are giving the spirit's permission to use your hands to move the planchet so you don't want to be disrespectful of them or mock them. The mean spirits can be worse to you if you mock them and even the good spirits can go bad if mocked or made fun of.

Fourth rule, never use the Ouija board if you are weak-minded, sick, or injured. I mean weak-minded in the sense of being sad, depressed, or not in a good headspace. You are more open to possession or being harmed if you're not strong as you usually are.

Fifth is don't play with a board in a graveyard. This is because you can be possessed easier in graveyard than anywhere else. This is the same reasoning as the sick and alone rule. You are also more likely to attract evil spirits.

Sixth rule is never burn a Ouija board. It makes the spirits mad and it lets the spirits that were connected out into your reality or space.

Seventh, close it out properly by saying goodbye. Never stop playing the board until you have done this because you will leave the portal open.

Rule number eight is never let a spirit count down the numbers or let them go through all the letters. This can allow them to escape. It can also be a sign that you have contacted a demon or evil spirit. If it starts to do so you have to say goodbye and close out the session properly by saying goodbye.

Ninth rule is never leave the planchet on top of the Ouija board. This can allow things to come through even when you are not playing.

Tenth rule is that if you have contacted a demon, blessing the house can make it worse. I never knew this rule but it makes sense because we have all seen parts of the movies about demon possession and we see what can happen when they are mad. Do your research on how to get rid of demons. I heard salt circles (and lines) and burning sage works when getting rid of bad spirits. Salt circles and lines I think are more for keeping the spirits out of certain places, though.

Rule number eleven is do not give the board to someone because the spirits attached to the board can follow it.

Rule Twelve is don't use the board if you think it's a game. This kind of goes with the rule that states you should never mock them. If you think this board is a game, you are more likely to mock the board or the spirits.

The next rule is don't say stuff like "if you are here, move this," "if you think you are so powerful, do that." This gives the spirits permission to move outside of the board.

This is just the start, so look out for the next part soon.
