Haunted Happenings In Latin America
Haunted Houses Built on cursed land Considered to be one of the most haunted houses in all of Latin America, La Casa Matusita is located in Lima, Peru. This house has a very frightening and violent history. Supposedly according to rumors, the house was built on land that had been cursed dating back to Spanish colonialism.

How Things Appear
Doctor I’ve tried to be a decent person my whole life. I’ve given fortunes to charities, found ways to help the poor, done community service that wasn’t court appointed. I have ensured that the police don’t even know my name, let alone ever been called by, or for, me. My life has been nothing to many, yet everything to some. Even with all of the good I have done there is a darkness in me that many should be glad to have never seen.

Aokigahara The Suicide Forest
Aokigahara as seen in the movie "The Forest", and also known as Jukai or sea of trees is located in Japan across a 13.5 mile radius at the edge of mount Fuji two hours outside of Tokyo. It's land is covered in a maze of trees, volcanic rocks, caverns, and moss. Though the moss might seem beautiful, one of it's main functions is breaking down decay which includes that of animals and humans. The forest dates back to more then 1,000 years old and is believed to be one of the most haunted places in the world with the average believed death rate to now reach almost 70-100 known suicides a year and at least 200 attempts per year.

The autumn season had been astoundingly cold, and by mid-December the Miskatonic River that bisected Arkham had frozen. A hop, skip, and a jump across the ice from the north bank sat a small island dotted with standing stones. Jessie had been enchanted by the island ever since arriving in Arkham back in late September, and now that it was so easily accessible, she decided to pay it a visit. She thought of the winters she spent as a young girl at her grandmother’s lakeside home in New Jersey, where she would venture out onto the ice to play her violin. Now, away at college and feeling homesick, Jessie had an urge to resume the tradition that had passed away along with her grandmother.

The Ungrel Invasion
I feel like I'm walking back home along the rim of the galaxy. I know! Melodramatic right? But it's how I feel. When the Ungrels landed their ships on the White House lawn back in 2047, we knew something was very wrong. There had been too many questions left unanswered. Why hadn't we attacked them? What did they want? How did they possibly know that of all the places to land on earth, the White House is probably the most fear-inducing? Such a tactic shows intelligence. It shows cunning, audacity, boldness, and confidence.
