The story revolves around a strange and unnerving sound that torments individuals in a town. The sound isn't simply a thump, yet a holy messenger of death cries, causing dread and nervousness in individuals. Individuals of the town have forever been focused on their everyday practice, falling into profound rest around evening time and awakening with the main beams of the sun in the first part of the day. Nonetheless, one night a year, individuals awaken to a dim, chilly, and horrible evening.

Throughout the previous 25 years, this night has come once each year, when it is freezing and stormy. Individuals are shrouded in covers and frozen, and afterward, out of nowhere, after 12 PM, a voice rises out of the town roads. The sound of wood, similar to somebody strolling on a wooden stick, reverberates on various roads, at last tearing the ears from his horrible danger.

Individuals of the towns awaken, shaking from dread, and afterward there is a thump on the entryway of a house. The entryway is thumped on over and over, and in a brief time frame, somebody would have kicked the bucket in that house.
