Is Zak Bagans a fake?

The truth

So if you don't know who Zak Bagans is he is the lead investigators on travel channel's ghost adventures. Ghost adventures started as a documentary in 2004 on the SyFy channel, it later turned into a show on the travel channel. He has also opened his own museum in Las Vegas.

I was made aware of him through all his live specials. When I watched the Halloween special where he was going to open the dybbuk box. Much of what they did prior to the opening of the opening of the dybbuk box seemed fake and over done. There was a part where they had a "witch" come into one room and the witch seemed like an actress that they brought in. Then when they went to open the box one of them started to act crazy but it looked like such an act to me. Even though things seemed fake or like an act doesn't mean that it is.

Then I started to learn about the rules of the paranormal world and I realized that he broke the rules. Mainly the rules he broke were those of attraction Then I also did my research and found several accounts of about how he or someone working on the show has faked something for ratings. It seems like in many of the episodes I've seen he gets hurt or attacked by some entity or spirit.

One of the rules they break several times is daring a spirit to do something. You should never taunt or dare a spirit to do something. The reason behind this is because you are giving them permission to do something but with spirits they are unpredictable and can do anything at any time they want. So if someone tells a spirit to push them the spirit will take that as an invite to push the person whenever they want.

Besides attracting bad spirits and breaking the rules the way I know that he is a fake is that people who worked on the show have came forward to say that they faked things. Aaron from the show said that the producers would manipulate the records on occasion. He also said that the producers would coach them how to react to things that would happen. This is a common thing in reality television. They even would reshoot certain scenes. Aaron coming forward cased him to get fired from the show.

There was one time someone that claimed that they had a EMF meter or spirit box knocked out of his hand but it later came out that he threw the meter. Zak even claims that he was possessed by an evil spirit but there was no evidence of that actually happening. I'm not saying that he couldn't at least have something attached to him but if someone was possessed there would be evidence of the possession.

There are also dramatic claims in the interviews at the sites that aren't backed up on the show. We don't know if the claims in the interview were true or not but they seemed to be more dramatic than what happens in real life. If the show was faking stuff and they had these wild claims in the interview couldn't the show make the show match the claims? I'm saying all of this to say the people are probably enhancing the stories to get on the show or enhancing them for the show.

A lot of people who watch the show say that they feel like Zak and crew act or over react for the sake of the show. Some of the most skeptical of viewers say that they feel like they are watching an over produced show with bad acting. I even mentioned before that I feel like there was acting going on. Even though there is no script that doesn't mean people won't act or that shows won't heavily produce at least some scenes if not the whole show.

I hope I have not ruined the show for anyone. I did this post because I didn't want people to think that how Zak does his investigations is really how investigations go.
