October has here, which means that the most contentious holiday of the year - Halloween - is quickly coming. In the United States, Halloween is celebrated on October 31st , but he rapidly became famous, particularly among those who enjoy being wicked, dressing up in suits, eating candy, and tickling the nerves of parents. That's correct, we're discussing children.

Let's begin with the decoration

No theme party is complete without atmospheric decorations. Start with the traditional attribute, a large pumpkin. By the way, you don't have to waste time looking for a real pumpkin - you just need to find a decorative alternative, for example, in the form of a figurine. And it's also practical: the decoration will definitely be preserved until next Halloween. Don't forget to create a spider web of threads and hang toy spiders on it. It will also be useful to add entourage by placing a paper skeleton in the corner.

Choose a Theme

There are several Halloween party themes to select from. Try focusing on a second theme in addition to spiderwebs and black and orange decor—the typical, enjoyable methods to transform your home into a haunted house. A creepy magical forest or a not-so-scary monster-themed party will appeal to children. A circus theme is a wonderful option for a younger crowd, and it's a great opportunity to include younger siblings in the excitement by having them play the animals!

Invite people to dress up and, of course, organise a costume contest. Adult assistance should also get into character. Be inventive!

Let us daydream about outfits

The main part of the celebration is a masquerade and a demonstration of original costumes. Give your child the opportunity to try themselves in different roles: be a ghost or a vampire, a witch in a hat or a cute spider, a bat in themed socks, or a funny hero in carnival glasses. The flight of fantasy is wide - the main thing is to think over the props in advance. By the way, it can be built from old things that you were going to get rid of, or you can find the necessary accessories in the modi chain of stores - a witch's hat, a scythe and even carnival gloves!

Let's create a Candy Bar

Not a single children's party takes place without sweets. Especially Halloween with its "Candy or Life!" Tradition. Usually in English-speaking countries, kids go around neighbors on this day in order to get goodies. This is not so developed in our country, but why not immerse yourself in the atmosphere of popular films? Collect lollipops in the form of colorful skulls, cartoon bats and skeletons on the table. Complete the candy with themed paper dishes to make the candy-eating experience extra special. The main thing is not to be too conservative when organizing a party for children! If you are a little less serious and take Halloween as an excuse to have fun, everything will fall into place.

Snacks should be simple

These open-face bologna-and-cheese sandwiches will delight children. And they're a breeze to make: simply cut out the cheesy faces using little cookie cutters. The pumpkin-shaped snack is finished with a basil leaf and a bread-crust stem. Make these ahead of time or make them an activity for the kids to complete during the celebration.

We plan an entertaining programme

To get started, create a playlist of cult hits from children's films and cartoons. Be sure to add some contests to your script so that the evening doesn't get boring. For example, have the children come up with a scary story or eat a gummy eye.

Don't overlook the incentive system. Make it stuff that the victors of your house party will remember till next Halloween. It's ideal if the presents are useful: a pumpkin eraser or a skeleton ballpoint pen, for example, would undoubtedly come in handy for young pupils throughout the year.

There are several ways to celebrate Halloween. But it's worth recalling that when we were kids, we were happy to listen to "horror stories" for hours - a naïve narrative today gives a grin, but the kids haven't changed and would cheerfully accept your offer to come visit.

For them, this is just another reason to get together, dress up in costumes and fool around heartily. So why not give in to this adventure? Believe me, your child will be delighted with this idea!
