A year or 2 ago I started this series and I took a break but I decided to start this up again. I also started to do more research about haunted locations in my area so I will include that information here as well. A lot of this will be about the Stanley hotel but at the end there will be information about other places. So let's get started

So let's start with one of the most famous places in the world, the Stanley hotel. Most of us know of it because this is the hotel where Steven King wrote the shinning. The most haunted spot in the hotel is room 217. One of the ghost there is Mrs. Wilson one of the original housekeepers. In a storm in 1911 she was injured but survived. There have reports of items being moved, luggage unpacked, and lights being turned on and off. Mrs. Wilson is also old fashioned so unmarried couples who stay in room 217 have reported having a cold force between them. You can actually stay in room 217. The area around the spiral staircase in the main guest building is called the vortex. It has a vortex of spirit energy. It is also known as the “rapid transit system” for ghosts.

Also at the hotel there is the concert hall that is haunted. Usually it is a ghost by the name of Paul who is a Jack of all trades and a well known ghost around the hotel. So when he was alive he would be responsible to enforce the 11pm curfew now people will hear "get out." Paul nudged a construction worker while he was sanding the floors. Also in this part of the hotel the founder of the hotel Flora Stanley’s ghost can be heard playing the piano. Lucy is also a ghost of woman who was believed to be homeless or a run away. She plays well with ghost hunters or paranormal investigators.

Room 401 and the 4th floor are hot spot. The fourth floor was a cavernous attic. It was where nannies, kids and female employees stayed. So there has been reports of the closet in room 401 will open and close by itself. Guest that stay on the 4th floor have reported hearing kids running, laughing and playing. Also room 428 is haunted. In this room people have heard footsteps above them and furniture moving around. There's also a cowboy who appears at the corner of the bed.

The grand staircase is a passageway for the ghosts. There was a guy who caught a ghost in a picture. There was no one on the staircase. There is also underground caves. Even if you aren't a guest at the hotel you can go to the spirit of the underground cave. The underground caves were a place where they move from place to place. Sceptics will brush the haunts off as breezes created by other sources.

In other place of the country there is a haunted club in Atlanta called the masquerade. There were a lot of the building's former staff who died in the fire and tuberculosis outbreak years ago. People report seeing ghosts and hearing foot steps. One of the main ghosts that's there is a tall black guy, people don't know who he is though. The staff says that heavy speakers have been turned over or upside down almost on a nightly basis. No one is in the room where they are kept so no one could flip them over. There is also cold spots and people report hearing screams. Some think that the screams were from spirits of several young girls, who all died in freak accidents in the mill. There used to be mills in Atlanta.

In El Paso Texas there is this place called the Magoffin Homestead. It was built by mayor Joseph Magoffin in 1875. After the family left the house 1976, when the City of El Paso and the State of Texas bought it. One ghost is Joseph Magoffin’s brother-in-law and best friend (Charles Richardson). He's known to rock in a rocking chair, open and close doors and mess with lights. There also a lady in white, a lady in blue and a little girl who appear. People also report breezes and taps on the shoulder.
