Part 1.

Deep in the heart of the quiet suburban neighbourhood of Bournemouth, there lived an old man named Harold. Harold was a recluse who rarely left his house, spending most of his days delving into the dark arts and dabbling in the occult.

Harold had always been fascinated by the idea of creating his own creature, a being of his own making that would serve as his loyal companion. He spent years studying ancient texts and practising arcane rituals, but nothing seemed to work.

One night, while conducting yet another experiment, Harold accidentally created a tulpa – a being born of his own thoughts and desires. The creature was strange and unsettling, but Harold was overjoyed that his years of hard work had finally paid off.

However, Harold soon realised that he had made a grave mistake. The tulpa was uncontrollable and had a will of its own. It would disappear for hours on end, only to reappear at random times with no explanation.

But Harold’s troubles didn’t end there. His next-door neighbour, a young man named Tyler, had recently moved in and was constantly playing loud music and slamming doors late into the night. Harold’s attempts to confront Tyler had all failed, leaving him frustrated and sleep-deprived.

One evening, as Harold lay in bed, he heard strange noises coming from Tyler’s apartment. He dismissed them as his imagination until he saw the tulpa slink out of his own apartment and disappear into Tyler’s.

The next morning, Harold discovered that Tyler was nowhere to be found. His apartment was in shambles, and there was no sign of a struggle. It wasn’t until the police arrived that Harold realised the true horror of what he had created.

The police were baffled by Tyler’s disappearance. There were no signs of forced entry, and all of his belongings were still in the apartment. Harold knew he couldn’t reveal the truth about the tulpa, as it would only make him the prime suspect in Tyler’s disappearance.

Days turned into weeks, and Harold struggled to cope with the guilt of what he had inadvertently caused. The tulpa continued to haunt him, and he could feel its presence lurking in the shadows, watching him at every turn.

One night, Harold awoke to find the tulpa standing at the foot of his bed. It stared at him with its empty eyes, and Harold could feel a sense of malevolence emanating from it.

Terrified, Harold tried to run, but the tulpa was too quick. It grabbed him by the arm and pulled him back, pinning him down on the bed. Harold lay there frozen with fear as it whispered in his ear.

“You have created me, and now you will serve me,” the tulpa hissed. “I will not rest until I have claimed my revenge on all those who have wronged me.”

Harold knew he had to act fast before the tulpa could cause any more harm. Over the next few days he prepared a ritual to try and banish the creature.

The battle was long and arduous, but in the end, Harold emerged victorious. The tulpa vanished into thin air, and Harold was left alone in his room, exhausted but relieved.

From that day on, Harold swore off the occult and devoted his life to doing good. He knew he could never undo the harm he had caused, but he could try to make amends by using his knowledge for the betterment of humanity.

As for Tyler, his disappearance remained a mystery. But Harold knew the truth, and he felt the guilt weighing heavy in his mind.

Part 2.

A few weeks passed since the incident with the tulpa. Harold had done his best to keep busy to try and avoid thinking about the traumatic event..

One morning, Harold saw a woman and a man going into Tyler’s flat. Out of curiosity, he approached the woman to say hello and find out what was going on. He was surprised when the young woman introduced herself as Tyler’s daughter.

She explained that her father had passed away a few weeks earlier, and she had come to collect his belongings. Harold felt sorry for the woman and apologised for bothering her.

As he was about to leave, the woman handed him a small box. She explained that it was her father’s personal belongings and that she thought Harold might find it interesting.

Curiosity got the best of Harold, and he opened the box as soon as he got home. Inside, he found a collection of books and artefacts related to the occult. It was clear that the neighbour had been dabbling in the same dark arts as Harold.

Harold felt a surge of guilt and responsibility. He knew that he had to prevent the same tragedy from happening again. He decided to take it upon himself to dispose of the items and destroy them once and for all.

As he was going through the items, he noticed something strange. There was a book that he had never seen before. The cover was old and worn, and the title was in an ancient language that he had never seen before.

Later than night he opened the book just to see what it contained. Then he without realising started to read out loud. A few moments later he realised what he was doing and how dangerous it was and quickly stopped reading. He realised that he had found a powerful spell, one that could summon a creature of unspeakable horror.

Harold knew that he should have destroyed the book and the other items, but he couldn’t resist the temptation. Little did he know that his actions would once again bring forth a creature of darkness, one that would seek revenge on all those who dared to cross its path.

Harold didn’t realise the gravity of his actions until strange things began to happen around him. At first, it was just small occurrences, like objects moving on their own, but it escalated quickly.

One night, Harold woke up to find the creature from the spell standing at the end of his bed. It was a grotesque creature, with glowing red eyes and sharp claws.

Harold tried to run, but the creature was faster. It grabbed him and dragged him across the floor. Harold screamed in terror as the creature emitted a deep, sinister laugh.

Suddenly, the creature disappeared, and Harold was left alone, gasping for breath. He knew then that he had made a grave mistake by reading aloud from the book.

It was too late as the creature had already been unleashed, and it was now on a mission. It targeted Harold’s neighbour first, the old woman who lived in the small house next door. He felt really sad as she was so kind to him after his wife died a few years ago.

Harold watched helplessly as the creature entered her house at night, and no one ever saw her again. There was no blood or signs of a struggle, she just varnished seemingly without a trace.

Harold was left with no choice but to face the creature and try to destroy it for good. He knew that it was a dangerous task, but he knew that he needed to do whatever it took.

With a heavy heart, Harold took up his old occult books and began to research a way to banish the creature back to the otherworldly realm from which it had come. He knew that it was his chance to stop the creature from causing any more harm.

As he read through the ancient books, he realised that he needed a powerful talisman to perform the banishing spell. But where could he find such a thing? He knew that he had to think fast before the creature struck again.
