Attack,"

Situated in Dallas, the White Rock Lake comes with a chilling history of ghostly encounters, particularly with the infamous Lady of White Rock Lake. The lake was formed by damming White Rock Creek, which today widens into the lake before continuing south out of the spillway and emptying into the Trinity River.

Legend has it that this lake has a dark past with many murders and body dumps, with two suicides in 1935 and 1942 possibly linked to the identity of this mysterious lady. The ghostly lady’s first appearance was in the 1930s and reported by high school students.

Anne Clark, a local writer, published an account in 1943 of a young couple encountering the lady before she disappeared during their attempt to drive her home.
