Lin Yu embarked on a train from Hefei to Beijing due to the need for work, sleeper, and medium position.

It was more than 11 p.m. when he got on the train, and after a short pause, the train started at about 11:30.

After packing his luggage and simply washing up, Lin Yu climbed into bed, his eyelids gradually drooping from the day's exertion, sleepiness coming from every cell of his body. Finally, it didn't take long for him to fall asleep, the slight sound of snorting accompanied by the sound made by the train moving continued quietly on the train late at night.

Suddenly the body became hotter and hotter, and the scalp had a tingling sensation. How the hell, although it is winter, also do not have to turn on the heating so much ah, the conductor to what ah. Lin Yu, who woke up from a hot sleep, complained, and couldn't sleep anyway, so he got up and wanted to go to the connection of the train cars to get some air and cool off.

He got out of bed, put on his shoes, and walked down the aisle that was only faintly lit, listening to his thumping footsteps and eyeing one bed after another. Since the car windows were covered by curtains, the beds were not too clear to see, but it was possible to tell if there were any sleepers.

One, empty, two, empty, three, still empty. Lin Yu clearly remembered when the carriage is a lot of people ah, how now. Is it hot to get up and go to that train connection? The company's main business is to provide a wide range of products and services to its customers.

The oppressive atmosphere in the empty carriage gave Lin Yu an urge to escape, and the train connection at the source of the bright light in front of him seemed to be the only hope to get rid of it all. However, sometimes the light is more terrifying than darkness, and hope is about to turn into the wail of despair on this midnight train.

In the process of Lin Yu's rapid run to the bright light, his head was also constantly thinking. Why are all the people on the bunks gone, is this an empty carriage? But he clearly remembered that when he got on the train, the lower bunk and the adjacent bunk were occupied, so why are they not there now? Did you get off the train early? This is impossible, this is an express train, the road only occasionally stops at a few stations, and now seems to have not reached the stopping point ah. And why is this carriage so hot, is it deliberately done by someone? It lasted for such a long time, did the conductor not notice? Why didn't anyone tell the conductor, why didn't anyone complain, why? Could it be? Could it be... Is there no one in the carriage at all? A cold chill went straight from the bottom of my feet to my head, and cold sweat sprang up from my forehead, falling down my cheeks in drops on the undulating floor of the carriage.

Suddenly from the light of the train connection came a gust of wind, mixed with an unpleasant rotten smell, blowing on Lin Yu's face, so he had a feeling of nausea. He did not dare to go further and stood stiffly in the middle of the aisle, facing the light in front of him. He did not know where the putrid smell came from, did not know what was there in the light, did not know what happened to the carriage, the fear of the unknown wrapped around him completely, so he did not dare to take another step forward.

The wind blew, the curtains floated up, and the light from the fire outside shone into the carriage. All the beds were empty, except for Lin Yu, there was no one else. If just now Lin Yu is still for all this to find out because the carriage is too dark, probably because he did not see this reason, then now the scene in front of him lets him completely think of collapse, because everything is so clear, he is just a person!

Looking out the window of the train: graves scattered on both sides of the train, the fires on each grave shaking with the wind, as well as the blood-red night reflected by the firelight faint voice: "New Year's Eve, finally home!
