Mads woke up screaming out of bed. Heavy breathing, her forehead covered in cold sweat, she was shaken by the nightmare she had. All she could do: was sit on the floor shaking. Till her husky nudged her to get up. “what the fuck was that?” She said, as she looked at her phone. The clock said: 8am.  She shook her head & stood up & made her way to the bathroom to get ready for work. Before she would hop in the shower, she went online to a discord server called: “General Fuckery,” to share her morning with her friends. So I had this nightmare where me, Bella, & Raku, were killed by these creatures. That shit was intense, the only good part about the dream: Was JD getting ripped apart.

Bella: Well at least JD died, so that’s looking on the Bright side.

Mads: I know right. But look, I got a

busy day ahead of me, and a live twitch at 9pm, so later.

Several hours later. Sitting in her gaming-chair waiting for her NZXT to boot up, Mads was setting up to live stream, two minutes later she was looking at her home screen, she logged into her Twitch, then backed out to click on her dead by daylight icon. She clicked Record on her twitch account. Once everything was halfway ready, she set up her chatroom & switched on her webcam. She was finally ready.

Five minutes after, a few of her followers had entered the chatroom. “Ok guys, tonight we’re playing “Dead By Daylight.” I just bought this new character and I want to test it out. She selected her character, scene, and difficulty. When one of her followers posted in the chatroom: who’s that in the doorway?”

Mads looked over her shoulder to check out what her follower was talking about, when she turned back to face the screen she replied: “Nothing’s there: But Darkness, now let’s get started.

Twenty-minutes into her stream, while laughing & joking with her followers. Behind Mads was the same silhouette lurking in the dark threshold of her bedroom-door. In the midst of her running away from the monster in the game, another message in the chatroom was  posted: “Who’s that by the door?” She glanced into the chatroom & replied: “it’s nothing.” She said in an annoyed tone of voice, while the ghostly-figure made its way from the threshold of the door, to the inside of the dimly lit room & sat on the edge of Mads’s bed.

Soon as the ghostly-figure sat on her bed, the chatroom lit up with posts that read: “WHOS THAT, there’s someone behind you, please turn around.” At this point Mads turned to look, only to find her Husky sitting on the bed.” Look, there’s nobody here but my dog, knock it off or I’m going to start kicking people.” Another post read: Ok, let’s  all pretend nothings  there.” “Whatever.” She replied, While the ghostly-figure seemed to have disappeared from the screen, only to show up standing beside her.

The chatroom once again blew up with messages, all saying the same thing. Fed up, Mads shouted: “Look, there’s not a god dam- the shadowy-figure lunged at Mads, taking her off-screen, & leaving her chatroom to in a complete frenzy. Cries for help, along with a dog’s growling whimpers filled the room, the pained moans coming from the floor grew louder, slashing nosies & blood splattering as if someone were cutting into bloody meat was causing her followers to overload the chatroom messages.

Then suddenly, the screen glitches to black for what seemed like seconds, only for Mads to appear on screen. But her face was grossly disfigured, as if she was wearing a hacked off make-shift mask of herself. Blood & torn pieces of flesh hung from the corners of her mask, as if she literally cut out her own face & worn it.

the chatroom got dead-quite, while Mads who seemed to be covered in a dark blanket gave her usual sign-off to the chatroom.  “Well thank you all for hanging out with me.” She said, at least that’s what they heard, because even though her words came out of her mouth: her mouth didn’t move at all. It stayed shut.

As the blood dripped off the mask, it stained her keyboard. After few minutes of awkwardness, A message finally broke the silence of the chatroom reading:……. Is this a Prank?  Mads ignored the question but saw a familiar name & said: “Oh and Shout-out my Girl Toi, im coming to see you soon.” The end.
