An angel of death!

This is a fictional tale, however, myths of beautiful women luring men into traps is a real life legend. Many believe them to be demons in disguise, or some other foul beast in the form of an irresistible beauty. Whatever the case, there have been many cases of this particular deceit. Perhaps they are the witches from medieval folklore, or another sort of enchantress that can manipulate the opposite gender like puppets.

There was a man named Barry Stew, he was a lonely guy who seemed to have the worst luck. Especially, when it came to women. For you see, Barry was typically the last choice, or more accurately, the unchosen. All the girls and boys he knew in school and college, were men and women now, some of them getting married, others were having kids. They all seemed to be living the good life, where true love met them, but never him. Oh, dear Barry got so desperate though, he would happily humiliate himself just to get a woman's attention. The daft lad never gave up, always drinking in the nightclubs and bars, chatting up ladies who thought he was a pig.

However, one night, it appeared as though his luck was about to change forever. After a particularly heavy drinking session, Barry found himself drunkenly wandering the night streets of New York, singing a song that was obnoxious to hear.

"Shut up!" People yelled and he'd shout slurs I dare not repeat! Barry was 32 and didn't care what anyone thought of him, not anymore. So he was as rude as they come. He truly had become the monster that society had labelled him as. A sad tale really, one that was about to get far worse. It was on this disorderly walk home that he finally saw her, the woman of his dreams! She stood tall and confident, and an unshakable power seemed to surround her. Even Barry, a drunkard who was shameless, soon found himself trembling and nervous, for her glory truly mesmerized him. Her face was spotless, like that of a doll and her body was beyond perfection.

"I- I... Uh." He mumbled.

"Hello." The woman grinned.

"Hi." He mustered.

"Aren't you handsome."

"M- me?" He pointed at himself.

"Yes, you... Silly." She laughed, almost mockingly. Yet, Barry didn't care, even if she was joking, he hadn't met eye to eye with a lady like this in years.

"I know all about you, Barry." She smirked, her silver eyes sparkling.

"You- you do?" He asked, shyly.

"Oh yes..." The lady nodded, "how lonely you are."

"But how?"

"Does it matter?" She asked, pulling him in closer. He fell into the woman's embrace, it was like falling into a bed of flowers.

"Oh my god..."

"Yeah baby..." She caressed his head, "give me a kiss?"

"Su- sure!" He reached up and kissed those tender lips, but instantly regretted it. For his mouth was vacuumed up into hers. He couldn't fight to get away, as the lady sucked his face up into her throat. There was blood everywhere, as his face detached from his head, Barry's skull was fully exposed, with his eyes bulging before falling out onto the ground. He screamed in absolutely agony, then bled out on the pavement, and that was the end of Barry Stew.

CCTV picked up the footage and police were baffled by what they saw, a beautiful woman, eating the face of a drunken man. It was the stuff of nightmares, most strange of all, was that she seemed to glow a golden colour immediately after her feast. The brightness overwhelmed the whole area, so that the cameras were blinded, then when the street became visible the mysterious woman had vanished. Like she had exploded into a being of pure light energy! Barry's body was left in the rainy gutter however, a teenage runaway came across the man's bloody remains, she called the police and was so spooked; she decided to return home after all. At least some good came out of this terrifying tale.

A warning to lonely men, if an attractive stranger approaches you, just be careful it isn't some sinister entity in disguise. You never know if you're face to face, with an angel of death!
