In late October 1973, a couple named Jack and Janet Smurla

Jack bought half of a duplex in West Pittston Pennsylvania from his parents. And on the other side of the duplex lived Jack's parents. This house had come in the headlines around the world.

By now the whole life of the smurul family had been disturbed, here Ed and Loraine were both trying to find out whether any of the people who lived in that apartment before had called the very powerful demon.
