Death to Mika
Everybody dies...but most don't go out the way this pair of Street Fighters did.
Unable to reach Cammy through her comm-link, Rainbow Mika continued onward down the hall she’d seen the blonde Brit race through. ‘I never should have let her go alone,’ Mika chastised herself as her heavily fleshed limbs churned madly as she ran. She knew that Cammy could handle herself in a dire situation, but when the woman hadn’t responded after two hours, it was a pause for alarm. A hundred different scenarios passed through her head as she approached the door at the end of the pathway. Her lover taken captive, tortured for the information she had on Guile’s planned storming of M. Bison’s complex, or with a bullet hole in her pretty head—none of them were good.
None of them could match the grisly sight that awaited her when she burst through the door. It was an operating theater, like in the movies. The high ceilings were adorned with bright stage lights, leading her eyes past the Shandaloo soldiers with their cameras rolling, to the far side of the room.
To Cammy.
Bound, gagged, nude.

High Rise, Deep Impact
I have witnessed a death that I relive every time I step into an elevator. Although it no longer affects me as deeply—given that it's been 11 years since the incident—it remains a heart- rending memory from my first and last day as a paramedic. My initial call to the scene involved a man who seemed to have fallen down the elevator shaft of a high-rise building. Alternatively, it might have been that the elevator moved upwards while he was working on it. Different scenarios were being considered when I arrived.
