Adventurous! Naturally, adventurous could have been Peggy Sue's middle name. She had the curiosity of a cat. Fear was a four-letter word that wasn't in her vocabulary! Besides exploring the swamps of Florida, Mississippi, and Louisana, Peggy Sue loved all the ghosts, witches, voodoo, monster, werewolf, and horror stories that were legendary along the coast. When it came to the Ouija board, she wasn't inclined to take the messages seriously.

Without a doubt, Peggy Sue considered her childhood to be idyllic. Since her family's relatives were scattered along the Gulf Coast and Florida Panhandle, she had the opportunity to explore swamps and waterways in her hometown. In addition. when she would spend time visiting relatives, she would explore swamps and waterways there.

After graduation from high school in Panama City, Florida, she enrolled at the Mississippi State College for Women in Columbus, Mississippi. Playing sports during her middle school and high school years and loving outdoor adventures, unsurprisingly, Peggy Sue selected Kinesiology as her major.

Moving into the resident's hall for her Freshmen classes was totally crazy, if it could go wrong it did. Peggy Sue stayed calm, observing other young women who were having major melt-downs.

A few weeks into the Fall Semester, the trees were noticeably bare. Every day, the skies were an eerie gray. Admittedly, the damp cold weather outside went straight through a person's bones. The weather, which was completely opposite of Peggy Sue's hometown, was conducive for staying indoors. While it was dreary and gloomy outside, the weather made it easier for Peggy Sue to stay focused on her classes and studies.

Since classes were going well, Peggy Sue looked forward to the Halloween party that her sorority sisters had planned for that weekend. Indeed, she was ready for a well-deserved break from her classes. Besides, Peggy Sue's favorite holiday was Halloween.

Because the 1978 independent movie, Halloween had been released two months earlier. The party started with the viewing of the horror movie. Conveniently, someone managed to obtain a bootleg copy of the movie. After the movie, they played some drinking games. With a few of the girls having ouija boards, tables and chairs were set up to play while they enjoyed their refreshments.

At Peggy Sue's table, the ouija board spelled out BEWARE FULL MOON! Nervously, the girls giggled. However, Peggy Sue had a bad feeling about the ouija board's message. She shrugged it off and joined her friends playing quarters. Others took their turn at the ouija tables. The party broke up at 3 A.M. Sleepy, the girls staggered to their rooms.

Awaking at 11:30 A.M., Peggy Sue was able to sleep late. Once awake, she went for food at the cafeteria. While she was eating, she began to think about the ouija board's ominous message, "BEWARE FULL MOON!" Again, she put it out of her mind. Furthermore, she had coursework to do and a lab test to study for.

Now, Thanksgiving was days away. Peggy Sue's family was having their usual large family gathering at their home in Panama City. She would drive a rental car to her parent's home.

Traveling on Highway 81, she was approximately an hour and a half from her family's home. For no apparent reason, the car radio shut off, the engine stopped as she coasted to the side of the road. Peggy Sue knew that she had plenty of gas. She had filled up with gas only thirty minutes earlier. Turning the ignition key, the car didn't make a sound. There was no click or grinding sound! Nothing! The rental car was dead.

Unfortunately, there weren't any cars or traffic on the highway. Stranded in the car. Peggy Sue noticed a considerable drop in the temperature. The fog was beginning to envelop her car. She began to think about the road signs she had seen before the car went dead. Remembering a sign for Mack Bay, she thought the waterway must be close by for the colder temperatures and all the fog that was surrounding her.

"What was that?" she sighed. Something was moving outside the car. Or, was it her imagination? Suddenly, she saw a light dancing outside. Exiting the car, her adventurous spirit kicked in. She decided to investigate. With the orb's light, she noticed a large full moon breaking through the fog.

The dark creature skillfully moved towards the car, Peggy Sue recalled the BEWARE FULL MOON warning. It was too late! Terrifyingly, the werewolf jumped Peggy Sue from behind and dragged her into Mack Bay.
