Aleya Ghost lights in India

The Aleya lights are lights that are connected to lights here in the US that I have written about and never knew it spread this far around the world.

In the marshes of West Bengal is where you can find these Aleya Ghost lights or otherwise known as Jack-o-lantern. In the marshes when the fishermen are fishing late into the night these ghost lights will come out and the fishermen will try and follow the lights and end up getting lost and end up dying. Many say that the lights are the spirits of dead fishermen and the fishermen out in the marsh get transfixed by the lights and they get confused and end up falling out of their boats and drowning. Other times the light can lead them away from danger.

When they follow the lights they start to flicker and then get smaller and smaller until they disappear. Then the fisherman panic because they do not know where they are and they can not see a thing. This is how they end up falling out of their boats from sheer panic and drowning.

There is a light here in the US that is a bit similar to this light. I wrote about it many months back. Night at Michigan’s Paulding Light( or The Dog Meadow Light)true story.

They say that this used to follow are train track and the man who worked on the train got squashed between two train cars and he lights his light up to warn people and keep them safe. Maybe there was a swamp there at one time also because the tv show Unsolved Mysteries went out to research the Paulding light and they claim it was swamp gases rising and that is the light we all see in the air.

There has been no proof from what I know of that there is or ever was a swamp there. But the train track is true from what many say. Was before my time of course but it says this on the big sign when you drive down the now undrivable road. You only can drive up to the sign and no further. When I first started going here, the road was completely intact. Rain waters washed away the middle of this road. Even when the road started to get bad you could at least walk down to see the light above your head(or where it should be to be above your head) disappear.

I have never seen the one in India but I wonder if it is just one white light or if is it multiple lights light than one here in Michigan. I had many opportunities to see the one in Michigan and it is the strangest light ever. I have never seen any light come out every single night faithfully. It would go up and down behind the trees and come back up. We flashed our car lights at it and it took much longer to come back up after that. Like the car, light affected it somehow. I have never seen such a light ever in my lifetime. Have you?

Have you heard about the ghost light that will follow a train and bounce around behind the train and its traveling and then disappear into the woods? These ghost lights may be in many more places than you know.

These ghost lights seem to have a lot in common and they also say the ghost light is still in many more places around the world. Is this one just like the “Devil’s Chair”, which is also all over the world? What do you think is the same or is this ghostly tale different from the rest?
