Six-year-old Agatha was a sweet and obedient child who created almost no problems for her loving parents. The girl spent almost all her free time in the yard, playing with her friends, and her mother, doing household chores, periodically looked out the window to make sure that everything was all right with her daughter. Agatha's father was at work all day to provide his family with everything they needed, so he was never at home.

One hot July day, Agatha and her mother went to the cemetery to visit the grave of her paternal grandmother. It was necessary to put everything in order there, plant flowers, weed out weeds and so on.

While the girl's mother was cleaning, Agatha decided to take a little walk around the cemetery. She wandered between the graves, trying not to go far, and looked at the tombstones, then her attention was attracted by a beautiful monument in the form of a marble angel, his head bowed on his folded palms, under it stood a small portrait of a little girl. Agatha felt sad, at the age of six; she already understood a little what death was, and she was very sorry for this unfortunate little girl who had passed away so early.

Squatting down, she began to carefully examine the portrait, and then noticed a small pendant on a thin crescent-shaped chain lying on the tombstone. Agatha picked it up and she liked it very much, she wanted to take the pendant for herself. but was afraid that her mother would not let her do it and would start swearing, then Agatha decided to hide the pendant in the pocket of her dress and, without telling her mother about it, take it home.

When she came home from the cemetery, she hid the pendant in a small box that dad gave her on March 8, and went for a walk with her friends. She really wanted to tell them about her find, but something stopped her; it seemed to her that this was some kind of big secret that could not be revealed to anyone.

Before going to bed, Agatha took out the pendant and began to look at it. It was so beautiful that she really wanted to put it on her neck, which she did. Getting out of bed, the little girl went to a large mirror and began to admire herself, then returned to bed again and fell asleep unnoticed.

Agatha had a nightmare in which she desperately floundered under the water column, trying to surface. but she did not have enough oxygen and she began to suffocate, the girl was seized with a mad panic and she awoke in horror and began to cry and call for mom and dad. The girl's parents ran to her room and began to ask what happened. Agatha told them about her terrible dream, and they, feeling sorry for their daughter, decided to put her to bed with them.

In the morning, Agatha quickly took off the pendant and hid it back in the casket so that mom wouldn't find out about it. The day flew by unnoticed, and at night Agatha could not sleep, she was very afraid that she would have a nightmare again, but she really did not want to go back to bed with her parents. she considered herself an adult and did not want mom and dad to think that she was a little coward. Soon she managed to fall asleep, but after a while she woke up from the fact that her feet were wet. Opening her eyes, Agatha was numb with fear. A girl was sitting on her bed, who looked very scary, she had cloudy eyes and gray swollen skin. She tried to say something with blue lips, but could not, dirty water was pouring from her mouth right on Agatha's feet.

Agatha jumped out of bed in horror and ran into the bedroom to her mom and dad, crying and stuttering, she told them what had happened to her, the parents began to calm the girl, convincing her that it was another terrible dream, dad even went with her to her room and proved that there was no one there it was, and the bed linen was clean and dry.

Since then, Agatha has been tormented by nightmares every night, she constantly dreamt of that terrible dead girl, she tried to tell her something, but every time dirty water flowed from her mouth, which did not allow her to utter a word.

Agatha withdrew into herself, she no longer went for a walk with her friends, but spent all the time in her room. The parents were very worried about their daughter and tried in every way to entertain her, the father even took a week off, but it was useless. And one sunny morning Agatha did not wake up. The ambulance doctors who arrived stated a deep coma and took the girl to the intensive care unit.

Agatha dreamt that she was walking through the cemetery, birds were singing around and the hot summer sun was shining, she saw a beautiful monument in the form of a marble angel, bowed his head on his folded palms, and approached him. Agatha felt some movement behind her, turning around. She noticed that a beautiful little girl with blue eyes and dark hair, in which for some reason there was one gray strand, was walking towards her. Agatha remembered that it was this little girl she had seen in the portrait then.

"Hi, my name is Eva and this is my grave," the little girl greeted, and continued to say, "I drowned a few years ago, and when I was still alive, my grandmother, a hereditary sorceress, gave me a crescent moon pendant and said that if I suddenly die, and then the one who he will find it and take it for himself, he will be able to bring me back to life."

"So I brought you back to life?" Agatha asked.

"Yes, at that time I was still very weak, so I couldn't come to you in a normal way and tell you everything, but the longer my pendant was with you, the stronger I became," Eva replied.

"So I can bring you back to life?" Agatha asked happily.

She really wanted to help this beautiful little girl with a bizarre gray streak in her hair become alive again.

"You can, for that you need to put on my pendant and just hug me," Eve replied.

"Just?" Agatha was delighted, her eyes immediately shone, but immediately went out and she sadly said, "But I don't have this pendant with me, it was left lying at home"

"Don't worry, I have it, I took it out of your box," Eva smiled and put her pendant on Agatha's neck. After that, Agatha, with all her childish sincerity, hugged the girl and squeezed her eyes shut in anticipation of a miracle.

Suddenly everything began to spin in a frenzied rhythm, and Eve, shining with a bright light, literally disappeared into thin air. Agatha opened her eyes and realized that emptiness was covering her. She looked around the space around her and saw that she was still in the cemetery, but now it was not as empty as before, there were people everywhere, but they all looked somehow strange, they had detached sad faces and on some of them they were wearing modern clothes, and some of them were old-fashioned.

Agatha was scared, she thought that she would open her eyes and find herself at home in her crib, but for some reason she found herself in the cemetery again. The girl did not understand anything, she cried, she began to call her mom and dad, but they were nowhere to be found, and these strange gray people around, as if they did not notice her at all...

Agatha's parents took turns on duty at her bedside in the hospital. They were just heartbroken. The doctor who was watching the girl could not say exactly when their daughter would come out of the coma. He believed that it could happen at any time, for example, in a month or a year, and maybe never at all.

This morning, Agatha's mother was dozing, sitting in an armchair near her daughter's bed, and then she felt someone touch her hand. Opening her eyes, she saw her Agatha in front of her.

"I woke up," the daughter said, and smiled. She had a crescent moon pendant around her neck, and a small gray strand was visible in her hair.
