It was a regular night. I had taken a shower and gotten ready for bed.

I spoke to my husbad for a few minutes and then he was fast asleep. I laid down and turned a couple of times and then decided to keep my eyes closed. I had to get up early the next morning so I needed to go to sleep. I didn't go to sleep, instead I pulled out the phone and scrolled a few minutes then I looked at the time, it is 11:00 pm I told myself, get your butte to sleep.

I put the phone away and closed my eyes one more time. I wasn't feeling any sleepier but eventually I would fall asleep I thought.

I could hear my husband's snoring and was then startled by some footsteps in the living room. Some laughing followed coming right into my bedroom. I opened my eyes and saw a black silhouette standing by the feet of my bed. I was as blind as a bat but could hear a girl's shrilling laugh and see the silhouette standing by my bed. Then she turned and left towards the living room laughing again. Her laugh made me get goosebumbs on my arms. I have never heard that kind of laughter in real life only in movies but I thought it was my daughter pranking me.

This child of mine I thought to myself. I woke up my husband and said didn't you hear that? He said what are you talking about?? I am going to check on my baby and ask what she was doing up this late. Ok my husband answered and went right back to sleep.

I got up, put my glasses on and went to my daughter's bedroom. She was snoring as loud as my husband. I stood next to her and called her name quietly. She did not answer me.

Hmm, I must be losing my mind or am I, I thought to myself. I went to my bed looked at the time only 11:13 pm.

I had an uneasy feeling about everything so I woke up my husband once again and told him, something is not right babe. Something bad is going on. I can feel it and that girl I heard laughing has a meaning I just don't know what it is.

Don't start with that stuff again and go to sleep. You were probably just dreaming. Okay, I said and laid back down.

Not even a minute later my husband's phone rings. A family member was calling him. They informed him his mom was in the hospital and they were going to have to take her to an out of town hospital because she was not doing well.

He got up and looked at me and said how did you know?
