The night was dark and stormy. The wind was howling and the rain was pouring. The trees were swaying and the branches were creaking. It was the perfect night for a ghost story.
I was sitting by the fire with my two friends, Emma and Sarah. We were sharing scary stories and trying to scare each other. Emma told the story of the haunted house. She said that the house was built on an ancient burial ground and that the ghosts of the dead people haunted it. The pool in the house was also haunted by the spirits of drowned people.
