1. Title: At 2:13 AM, My Phone Rang… The Caller ID Was Me
At exactly 2:13 AM, my phone rang.

Story
At exactly 2:13 AM, my phone rang.
I stared at the screen, still half-asleep.
Caller ID: Me.
Not my number saved under a nickname. Not a glitchy label.
Just… Me.
I let it ring once. Twice.
On the third ring, I answered.
“…Hello?”
Static.
Then a voice.
My voice.
“Don’t go to work tomorrow.”
I froze.
“This isn’t funny.”
“Listen to me,” it said—calm, urgent. “If you leave the house at 8:15, you won’t come back.”
My chest tightened. “Who is this?”
“You already know.”
The call ended.
I didn’t sleep again.
At 7:50 AM, I stood by the door, keys in hand. I laughed it off—stress, dreams, nothing more.
8:10.
8:14.
My hand hovered over the knob.
At 8:15, I didn’t open it.
I don’t know why. I just… couldn’t.
I waited.
8:16.
8:17.
Silence.
Then sirens.
Distant at first. Then closer. Then right outside my building.
I opened the window.
A car was crushed at the intersection.
My route to work.
My time.
My breath stopped.
My phone buzzed again.
1 New Message
From: Me
“Now you understand.”
I stared at it, heart racing.
Another message appeared.
“Next call… you won’t like.”
