With all of the drama circling the YT community, it's time we move on from that, and look more closely into the channels that come with comedy, and pure entertainment, while leaving the drama off camera.
H3H3
Ethan and Hila Klein run H3H3 Productions, providing their subscribers with reaction videos, funny sketches, and more. This power couple has over 6.25 million subscribers, not counting their vlog channel, ,or podcast they record regularly. If you're looking for a good laugh along with engagement, H3 is the way to go.
Numberphile
If you're into math and like to watch random anomalies that can't be explained any other way than mathematically, this is the channel for you. With a variety of guest mathematicians to break down what they find so fascinating about problems such as Chaos and Life and Death, this channel is all around wholesome, and great for the mindfully gifted.
LivePd
I guess this isn't really a channel, but the videos are always a good laugh. If you like to know what's potentially going on in your community, or other states, and want to see it first hand, this production has a camera crew follow police officers throughout their shifts protecting the community, and fighting crime.
Jenna Marbles
Oh Jenna... Her videos have always put a smile on everyone's face. With her antics of creating a soap bed for her dog, or doing DIY tutorials that somehow always turn into a disaster, Jenna Marbles really comes full circle in the creativity department.
The Try Guys
Keith, Ned, Eugene, and Zach are four best friends who used to work at Buzzfeed before deciding to work on their channel full time independently. They have multiple playlists of whatever genre of video you're looking for to accommodate for a variety of viewers. Great content with creativity, and drive behind it.
Taylor Nicole Dean
For all of the animal lovers out there, Taylor has you covered. From how to care for animals, to the obstacles she has faced in a life with animals, she encapsulates what true animal love is all about. If you're looking to get an off the wall animal, and don't quite know how to take care of it, her channel is great for getting some tips and tricks to properly care for your new friend.
Nikki Tutorials
Nikkitutorials is a makeup artist who likes to keep things on the light and fun side when sharing her makeup routine, or makeup reviews. Snoop Dogg recently collaborated with her on a new video doing a voice over, just to give it an extra laugh factor. She is always mixing it up with some fun and fresh looks

The hours that the kitchen is open, are the hours that those jobs will have the shifts available, besides bartenders. Doesn't seem like a lot does it? The Pearl by John Steinbeck
‘The Pearl’ is a well-known by under-read classic and, as a teacher, many of my students have absolutely loved it. Not just because it is short, but because it presents a storyline that is interesting and corrupting. Easy to read and easier to analyse, ‘The Pearl’ is one of Steinbeck’s hardest hitting classics with an underlying message about protecting what is actually important. By the end of the book, the reader is left defeated and believing in the wrong thing. The idealism around this book is incredible and it is so dark too. For a long while you are supporting the wrong people, thinking in the wrong way and the whole story becomes one long act of misdirection by Steinbeck to show in a ‘Monkey’s Paw’ fashion why we should never chase wealth and status.

Was I a Model in Japan?
During my time in Nagoya I worked and lived at the strangely famous hostel and café Nagonoya. With its chequered floors and florescent lighting it felt quite dated, but I think that was supposed to be part of the charm. The dorms were always fully booked on weekends with domestic tourists and there was always a buzz in the downstairs café. Camera crews were constantly in and out of the place interviewing the Japanese staff members who worked the café. I think it had something to do with the egg sandwiches. At least that was what was on most of the merchandise, except for that one dishcloth with the owner’s face on it. Was I being employed by a local celebrity?
