First and foremost I’m not bringing this commentary to you from an actual casino, but that’s what we call it when we lose track of time watching TV with family.

Second disclaimer is that I didn’t watch this whole series, as a matter of fact, I don’t think I caught a WHOLE episode . I believe I just caught bits and pieces of the first two episodes.

But the utter confusion and hilarious conversation that ensued while watching the show made me want to share my initial reactions about the documentary with y’all.

Third disclaimer: I watched this while consuming having a 🌱Blackberry Snooze Bite🌱 & I whole heartedly suggest you do the same 🤣.

Now y’all remember when I watched “The Woman in the House Across the Street from the Girl in the Window” not realizing it was a spoof movie???

Well here in case you want a refresher:

Well , I went into watching this documentary not realizing these were true stories 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣

I’m laughing because I REALLY need to do more research about what I’m watching before I invest more than an hour of my time.

But then I wouldn’t have these bonding moments with family leading to these brilliant articles 😁

So as I enter the room to watch TV I asked my family member what they were watching and they said, “Worst Roommate Ever” So my smart 🍑 never missing an opportunity for self deprecating humor & coincidentally the newbie in The Household said…

“I can go back upstairs…” We laughed about that for a minute and I honestly thought my family member left the room …📌 (yes for now on that stands for “put a pin in that” and that really excited me, but I’m a dork.🤣🤣🤣🤣

The first episode of Worst Roommate Ever was about “a woman known as Dorothea Puente who runs a boarding house for those less fortunate, but her seeming benevolence belies darker motives” (Netflix).

Ms. Puente apparently ran somewhat of of a boarding house and murdered nine people who lived there for their Social Security Checks. 😳

Then she disposed of the bodies in various heinous ways.😱

I was wondering to myself while watching why I didn’t hear about this because surely this would have made the NEWS cycle??

I’m sure it did, but alas her crimes spanned from 1982-1988 , so I still was very young at the time and probably wasn’t paying attention.

Nevertheless anyhow, anywho, it was at this point when the family member I thought left the room …shouted:

SHE’S A HUNDRED POUNDS SOAKING WET!!! HOW IS SHE MOVING THE BODIES BY HERSELF!!!

MiMi 😳

First of all, the unnamed family member scared the living 💩 outta me because they were sitting outside of my nonexistent peripheral vision, so I didn’t even realize they came back in the room 😏.

I have no reason at all to be jumpy while watching a murder documentary 🤣🤣🤣 .

🤣🤣🤣 so I jumped a lil bit and after the family member and I stopped laughing…(damn snooze bite 🤦🏻‍♀️🤣) I realized my “mother in Christ” just asked me how this woman was able to move a body being only a hundred pounds??? 😳

🤣🤣🤣

What’s funnier is I was scanning my damaged brain trying to come up with a legitimate answer for her when,as if on cue, the voice over said…”she’d had her new tenants move the bodies”…

😳

I 💩 you not at that point the “highly” recommended Blackberry Snooze Bite kicked in and I said:

💁🏻‍♀️ Well there’s your answer, “Mom”

Jeeesh, the things we bond over 🤣🤣🤣.

I seriously can’t make this stuff up.

Peace, Love, Exhale

✌🏼💜💨
