Why Harry Potter should have married Luna Lovegood?

I think even J.K.Rowling would consider shipping Luna x Harry,if given a chance to revisit the aesthetic lattice of their relationship she built herself.

Are you a potterhead? Well, you may be pissed if I say that Luna Lovegood was only character which to me,seemed worthy of winning over Harry Potter. My own feelings are that Harry and Luna felt right together, that they seemed to "click " in ways varied and profound. Luna x Harry pairing seem to flow much better than Ginny x Harry. His chemistry with Ginny was so forced on screen that I can't help but cringe. In contrast, whenever I saw Luna with Harry,I could feel something building up,but, unfortunately, author was in no mood of serving that build-up to us with a nice climax.

I felt like there was more chemistry between Luna and Harry. Harry seemed to be the first real friend that Luna had(aside from Ginny)and even if he did think she was odd,he never disregarded her because of that. I wanted her to have that refuge in Harry who always treated her respectfully and never belittled her. I think it's important to remember that after Sirius died(RIP),Harry was angry and confused and he didn't feel better until after he had a conversation with Luna. It was also kinda adorable that out of all the girl's Harry could ask for Prof. Slughorn's party,he chose Luna.

Luna was a true friend who could always saw through Harry's mind and soul, she never saw him as the famous boy who lived. To her,he was just a nice and sad boy. She knew what was like to bullied for being odd and weird,to lose a mother and she learned it was better being yourself than being upto standard. I feel she could really understand and heal Harry's soul as nobody could. She was always the first to notice Harry's emotions and never gets mad but rather helps him through them and shows him the bright side of things. Two of them being the only able to see thestrals and Luna explaining to him that he shouldn't be afraid of them, manifests how Luna could have added value to his life.

Both Harry and Luna didn't have many positive relationships in their life, they just found comfort and acceptance in each other when they couldn't in others, which I think is beautiful. They understood each other and let the other be,which is what they both needed.Luna is wonderfully weird and open-minded while Harry has a more relaxed, "just roll with it" attitude and he is really cool with her weirdness. They are very much different but I can totally see them working out. I feel like this was a very organic pairing that had so much potential.

I have absolutely nothing against Ginny but I feel like she is too strong and fierce for him. She hardly would get him the peace and understanding he needed from a lifemate. As Ginny and Harry, they'd always look at each other as superior, feeling they are inferior to the other, while Luna and Harry would look at each other as equals. Harry suddenly crushing on Ginny came so out of the blue plus looks kinda forced too. They just don't seem compatible for a healthy long-term relationship.

Keeping aside chemistry,I found it disappointing on J.K.Rowling's side to simply handover the "hero" of the series to a 'fangirl'. Luna has so much to offer in character and worth that she simply makes the case for being the protagonist's love interest. She has an arrestingly beautiful voice to my opinion. She is mysterious, which adds to her attractiveness. Her charm is that she is so unaffected by what other people think yet still sensitive and considerate. If Hermione has cleverness,Luna has wisdom(evident when she instantly solved that Helena's diadem could be a horcrux).Though it's sad that no matter how much wisdom she shows, people don't take her seriously.

Also, keep in mind that Voldemort couldn't detect Harry underneath his invisibility cloak, and according to the tale of deathly hallows, death himself couldn't detect the wizard who hid underneath it. Yet Luna could(when she rescued Harry on hogwarts Express). She is the only one in the entire wizarding world to demonstrate this ability.

For the first time,I considered a pairing from a more intellectual standpoint and it still disappoints me that ' Lunarry' wasn't explored. But also, I get that some people can just be friends on that level without romantic interest. However, while having a childhood crush be realized is something a lot of people dream of,I would have truly liked Ginny getting over Harry eventually, even supporting Luna x Harry(like when she says it's nice of him to take her to the ball). Then,we would see a more mature relationship from all the characters involved.

Whatever.....I love their friendship. Harry's always gone for normal type ,pretty, popular girls like Cho,Ginny romantically but I think he's in love with Luna's soul. They are like kindred spirits more than anything else....but I think, that's more precious than a romantic relationship.

And also the fact that Harry named his daughter Lily Luna Potter after Luna, adds an uncanny angle to Luna x Harry relationship.

And even if now,you can't find a reason for 'Lunarry' ship,I suspect nArgLes.
