What to Get an Emo

Everyone expected Roman to have one of the easiest jobs in Thomas's mind since he was the aspect of accepted creativity. Well, apart from the atelophobia (since everyone was acknowledging it), one big issue that nobody really considered was that materializing certain things without help exhausted the Prince. As a result, he didn't often materialize anything that was too big since it would take a lot of time, but handheld objects or clothes were better.

As Christmas was getting closer, he was struggling to decide what to get his purple-coated boyfriend for Christmas. Logan had a lucky guess on what to get before, but that was because it was a Secret Santa gift; it was small, and a lot of ideas weren't swimming around in Logan's head on a daily basis driving him crazy. Not only that, but Virgil wasn't the begging type when it came to gifts, so it made it even more difficult.

The couple watched Return to Oz together late one evening. Roman wasn't that fond of what Disney did once they owned Wizard of Oz, but he liked the smirk of satisfaction on Virgil's face as a result seeing the dark stuff Disney had to offer. Eventually, Virgil fell asleep against Roman and the Prince felt too lazy to turn off the movie, so he just scrolled mindlessly on his phone while making sure it wasn't too bright to wake his emo up. After exercising his thumb, Roman stumbled across an old post online that gave him an idea of what he was going to get Virgil for Christmas.

Roman found a day where he wasn't needed by Thomas to go off to the Imagination and find a space with a lot of room. As much as he knew he'd wear himself out, he knew he would need a lot of space and details to manifest his plan. He looked down at his hands not knowing how exhausted he'd be, but he just muttered "For Virgil" before he began. After so much energy and thought, Roman was surrounded by a packed Twenty One Pilots concert and kept his eyes closed to remain focused, relying only on his hearing to confirm that he was materializing everything he needed to. He heard Tyler Joseph stop singing and shout "Okay, everybody! We've got a special surprise for you all tonight..." before he heard the familiar G-note that made Virgil's heart stop, but it was from a trumpet instead of a piano. He heard the crowds around him shout about My Chemical Romance appearing on the stage. He also heard Gerard Way singing "This Is Gospel" before hearing everyone shout from the appearance of Brendon Urie and Fall Out Boy. The concert was going as enthusiastic and as long as an average concert and Roman heard so many emos around him go crazy. He, then, heard the performers sing "The Internet is Here" and knew Dan and Phil walked onto the stage with a rainbow flag. After the end of song, Roman struggled to keep standing, but used a lot more of his energy to complete one more task. By the time he no longer heard what could only be described as an emo's wet dream and felt something in his pocket, Roman collapsed and lost consciousness.

Roman groaned with his eyes closed as he was slowly starting to come to. He felt that he was no longer on his stomach, but on his back with his head slightly raised. He opened his eyes and looked at the face of his beloved.

"Welcome back, Princey. How was your 4 day trip?" Virgil told him with sarcasm, but they both knew the emo was incredibly worried.

Roman was stunned that he had been out cold for 4 days, but wasn't too concerned since he didn't technically duck out.

"Logan found you when he realized it was too peaceful. When he brought you back, we were worried Remus knocked you out until he barged in and...inspected you."

"Was that all he wanted to do?"

"Actually, he said that he guessed you created something with too much energy and that it's a Creativity thing."

Roman turned a bit before sitting up to look at Virgil.

"What did you create that was so big that it was worth putting yourself in a coma?" Virgil demanded to know.

Roman sighs before pulling out the object from his pocket and giving it to Virgil. Virgil was confused when he saw a snow globe with a big stage in the middle until he shook it. He was in shock from the performance that was happening in the snow globe.

"Consider it your early Christmas present or try to act surprised on the day of. I had to make the performance life size first to get the details right before putting it into the snow globe," Roman admitted.

Virgil continued viewing the performance before he looked at Roman and hugged him.

"You didn't have to hurt yourself for me, but thank you so much."

"Only a special Christmas gift for an equally special emo."
