We're going to Loo Loo Land at Helluva Boss!!!
It's family time, oh shit!
Spoilers ahead
Loo Loo Land sounds like a fictional place someone who is fuckin crazy would call home. However, in Helluva Boss episode 2, there is a place called Loo Loo Land, located in Hell. In this episode, we learn about the relationship between Prince Stolas and Princess Stella and their daughter, princess Octavia aka Via.
We hear in the beginning when Octavia is a little girl owl and wakes up crying out for her mom and dad. Stella isn't interested in checking on her offspring, so Stolas goes to her,
he calms her with a lullaby. And Octavia falls asleep she looks so sweet and innocent,
but that was then and with a quick transition…and a crashing sound because Stella and Stolas are having a yelling contest. Stella is heard, that she is in rage that Stolas slept with an Imp in their bed. Stolas replies, "it was unexpected; I didn't have time to go to a hotel."
- Here's a tip don't say what stolas said to Stella, it may work for a demon prince, but in the human world, you will either get punched in the face or kicked in the family jewels,
- If you recall, Stella is talking about the event shown in the pilot episode when Blitzo falls on Stella's tea party; Blitzo not only makes a mess but says the one thing that started the whole Chaos in the palace of Prince Stolas, Blitzo said to Stella "Sorry, I fucked your husband,"
Octavia is sixteen years old and now looks like a goth. She is miserable and downright depressed. Not interested in hearing her parents fight, she puts on her earphones and blasts on her music.
Stella informs Stolas that he is a "God-Damn embarrassment" and walks out without acknowledging Octavia upon entering the kitchen. Stolas greets Octavia as if nothing had happened.
But Octavia is just miserable that she was woken up and once again hearing the same argument that has been going on with her parents since she was young.
Stolas comes up with an idea to get out of the house to avoid Stella by offering to take Octavia to her favorite place, "Loo Loo Land" Octavia is not thrilled about the offer; she informs Stolas she is not five years old anymore, and sarcastically says, "I'd rather kill myself."
It seems Stolas isn't getting the message that Octavia doesn't want to go because he arranges I.M.P. as their security. This is the first time Blitzo shows how he really feels about stolas. In the pilot episode, Blitzo shows respect when speaking to Stolas over the phone; in the second episode, Blitzo yells when he answers Stolas's call. I guess you can call it a love-hate relationship.
Even though I.M.P. isn't a bodyguard service, Blitzo takes the job because money talks. (Yeah, Stolas tells him he'll pay him.)
When I.M.P. arrives at Loo Loo Land with Stolas and Octavia, the park isn't very lively. In fact, the place looks like it hasn't been keeping up to date. Signs are falling down; everything cost an arm and a leg. And the imps dressed in costumes are perverts. Oh my god!!!
During the visit to the park, Blitzo takes the first watch while Moxxie and Millie go have a little fun.
Millie and Moxxie go to play the carnival games. Millie sees a plush toy called a "thing" yes, that's right, a thing.
Moxxie Plays the game, but the carnie has the game rigged and loses so much money.
Back with Blitzo, Stolas, and Octavia, the three watch a circus performer Robo Fizz (Alex Brightman).
Still, as usual, Stolas flirts with Blitzo, which causes Octavia to get fed up and runs away from the show; Stolas follows her,
Blitzo gets left behind. We learn Robo Fizz and Blitzo used to work together, but Blitzo's act wasn't as good as Robo Fizz, and both show how much they hate each other and get into a fight.
Stolas follows Octavia on a funhouse ride, Here we learn why Octavia is the way she is, and she tells him that the only reason she liked going to Loo Loo Land when she was younger was that her home didn't feel like home anymore since her father flirting with a red dickhead Imp. Stolas tries to explain his failing relationship with her mother but can't find the words to do so. Because just like royalty here on Earth, Kings and Queens arrange marriages for the next generation; however, the offspring in arranged marriages are not always on board.
Octavia takes the opportunity to tell her father her fear that Stolas will leave her behind in favor of Blitzo; surprised and in shock, Stolas hugs her and assures her that he will never leave her.
After their conversation, Stolas finally sees his little owlet isn't little anymore and decides it's time for them to go as Blitzo and Robo Fizz's fight sets the rest of the park on fire.
