Vigilante is a South Korean live TV show that is still going on. It stars Nam Joo-hyuk, Yoo Ji-tae, Lee Joon-hyuk, and Kim So-jin. Based on Kim Gyu-sam’s Naver webtoon of the same name, the show is about a good student at the police school who enforces the law during the day and punishes criminals who try to avoid the law at night as a “Vigilante.”

According to the Dramaio.com! It had its world premiere on October 5, 2023, in the On Screen part of the 28th Busan International Film Festival. On November 8, 2023, it was also shown on Disney+.

Kim Ji Yong’s mother was killed in the street when he was a child. The person who did wrong only got three and a half years in jail. As an adult, Kim Ji Yong can see that the person who killed his mother hasn’t changed at all. Ji Yong decides to punish him himself by beating him badly.

After that, Kim Ji Yong starts living two completely different lives. He is a great student at the police university during the week. On the weekends, he punishes criminals who have received light terms but are still breaking the law.

1) Nam Joo-hyuk as Kim Ji-yong

Nam Joo-hyuk is a South Korean model and actor. He was born in Busan, South Korea, on February 22, 1994. He started out as a model and was in a few music videos before his big screen appearance in “The Idle Mermaid” in 2014.

After becoming famous for his part in “Who Are You: School 2015” (2015), Nam has gone on to play lead roles in “Weightlifting Fairy Kim Bok-joo” (2016), “The Bride of Habaek” (2017), “The Light in Your Eyes” (2019), “The School Nurse Files” (2020), “Start Up” (2020), “Twenty-Five Twenty-One” (2022) and “Vigilante” (2023). Nam was in Forbes 30 Under 30 in 2021 because of how well he was doing as an actor and model.

2) Yoo Ji-tae as Jo Heon

Yoo Ji-tae is a South Korean actor, film director, and screenwriter. He was born in South Korea on April 13, 1976. Yoo started his work as a fashion model and then moved on to acting. The movies “Attack the Gas Station” (1999) and “Ditto” made him famous.

Yoo has worked with well-known directors like Hong Sang-soo, Park Chan-wook, and Hur Jin-ho. Along with writing and directing short films, he made his feature film debut with “Mai Ratima” in 2012. A lot of people have given Yoo awards for his playing. For his part in “Wide Awake,” he won Best Actor at the 2008 Korean Film Awards.

3) Lee Joon-hyuk as Cho Kang-ok

Lee Joon-hyuk is a South Korean actor who was born on March 13, 1984, in Seoul, South Korea. In 2006, he made his stage debut in a music video for the hip-hop group Typhoon.

After making his acting debut in the 2007 drama “First Wives’ Club,” he went on to feature in a number of well-known TV shows, including “Three Brothers” (2009), “City Hunter” (2011), “Man from the Equator” (2012), “Stranger” (2017), “Designated Survivor: 60 Days” (2019) and “Vigilante” (2023).

In addition, Lee has appeared in a number of movies and received multiple accolades for his work, including the Best Actor Award from the 5th Asia Artist Awards for his portrayal in “365: Repeat the Year.”

4) Kim So-jin as Choi Mi-ryeo

Kim So-jin is a South Korean actress, born on December 12, 1979 in Inje County, South Korea. She gained notoriety for her performance as a prosecutor in the 2017 crime drama “The King,” for which she was recognised with multiple honours, including the Baeksang Arts Award for Best Supporting Actress, the Grand Bell Award, and the Blue Dragon Film Award.

Kim has also acted in a number of other films, including “The Man Standing Next” and “The Drug King.” She has made a name for herself in the acting industry by playing unique roles in a variety of plays and motion pictures.
