Varun Dhawan was born 24-04-1987 in Mumbai, India. He is an Indian Film Actor & son of well-known film director David Dhawan. He is known for his work in Bollywood cinema.He is the son of Bollywood Director David Dhawan, Nephew of Bollywood actor Anil Dhawan, Brother of Bollywood director Rohit Dhawan, Cousin of Bollywood actor Siddharth Dhawan, Second cousin to director Punit Malhotra and Nephew of Bollywood actress Rashmi Dhawan.

After assisting Karan Johar in My Name is Khan, Dhawan made his acting debut in 2012 with the film Student of The Year, alongside Sidharth Malhotra and Alia Bhatt. The movie was a huge hit and his role of a Rohan Nanda as a teen-aged son of Superrich was well received and was praised by critics. His next release was Main Tera Hero in 2014, was also a commercial success. The very same year he appeared in Humpty Sharma Ki Dulhania.
