Are you part of the supernatural fantasy world? Fallen in love with a vampire or two? Then why not switch sides! I think you will really like this series where I am gladly presenting you two brothers, two hunters that keep the supernatural beings in place.

Supernatural fiction surprised us over the last decade with so many intriguing stories and characters. Characters that infiltrated our brains, stories that kept us on our toes, a desire for more forever in our hearts.

Some might say that fantasy and supernatural genres don't overlap, but I bet to disagree. As human beings, our minds crave an escape from reality. A different kind of world where the impossible becomes possible, where the unknown becomes exciting, intriguing. It becomes so captivating that we just need to know what comes next.

Dracula

"Dracula" by Bram Stocker was one of the first few encounters with vampires, these mystical folklore creatures that need a vital essence to survive. The fascination with such a new notion blew my mind at the time and made me find out more. Coming from Romania, the country known for vampires, the more I discovered, the more I fell in love with this type of novels and stories.

Vampire Diaries

Vampire Diaries follows the story of Elena, a girl that falls in love with a vampire and their adventures. While the show can be underestimated by so many, it diverges from the books a few seasons in and I think it was such a good choice. It showed the creativity of the producers and writers but also lets us all crave that inner happy ending. The books provide a completely different side of the story and characters. So let me ask you this: which team were you on? Team Stefan or Team Damon? Which brother infatuated you more?

Supernatural

If you lived for Vampire Diaries, I think it is time to switch sides and fall in love with another two brothers. This time its two hunters of any supernatural beings, demons, ghosts or monsters. Two incredibly hot guys that play with the faith of the world, save it in the morning and damn it by down.

The story finds the two brothers, Sam and Dean Winchester as they follow in their father's footsteps hunting down all evil supernatural creatures with a motto to intrigue you.

SAVING PEOPLE, HUNTING THINGS, THE FAMILY BUSINESS.

As the seasons' pass, we get to see bigger and bigger villains. There is something magical and you are in for a treat. The show doesn't just stop at vampires, you get a piece of the universe and all of its beings. Changelings with a teaspoon of ghosts for breakfast, sirens and scarecrows for lunch, witches, vampires and werewolves for dinner with a top of knights of hell, horseman of the apocalypse and angels as dessert. You name, the create was sought, hunted and killed.

The most emotionally invested and connected I have been in a show. The focus on the brother's relationship, the number of times it is built up and soon after torn down.

Comedy?

What makes it distinctive is the comedy it brings. Unlike other shows, I think it has some of the most hilarious and ridiculous moments of comedy embedded. Of course, it's a serious show so the comedy isn't always there or is dialed down but the contrast is what makes it even funnier.

15 seasons, some good, some great. Here are a few selections of episodes where you can find the best comedy in this supernatural world.

Season 7: episodes 8 and 14

Season 8: episodes 8 and 11

Best seasons?

In my opinion, the best of the series is the first five seasons and season eight. They are the best well-made episodes.

Can you tell that that even with vampires or hunters, we get back to the eternal choice? Good vs evil. The nice guy vs the bad boy. And shouldn't we all know better by now? We all want the nice guy, but deep down crave a taste of the danger. What is life with a bit of spice? Let your imagination run wild.
